Otherwise good product.

Let’s give it a try. Let me say it’s more than what I asked for! I am in absolute in love with this watch, to say that when I don’t have it on me I feel like something is missing. Totally recommend this Garmin watch. You won’t be disappointed!!

I am glad I paid attention to my wife, the fénix 6s is extraordinary. perfect size, clear display, amazing battery life, allows me to capture my daily routine from sleep, to run, bike and stress, it’s without a doubt the best watch I have had. I really liked the Apple Watch I had before the garmin 645, but I am happy I gave garmin another chance. This watch is worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very impressed so far I was worried it would be too heavy or too thick but it's hardly noticeable on my wrist. As a man with smaller wrists I dislike large watches, so the regular 6 was out of the question for me. It's nice being able to change the watch faces easily, so I can have a more traditional looking watch while at work or for going out to dinner and events. A couple of clicks and it changes to a watch which gives me a lot of information at a glance such as weather, forecast, heartrate etc.

The Garmin team is so awesome, they are sending me a replacement but in the meantime I purchased the Fenix 6S. Holy cow! This is one amazing piece of watch. The way it fits, the interface, the features are over-the-top. I am an ex-runner, and now spend my time hiking and adventuring. Love the compass feature, and of course all of the customizable view options for workouts. If you are active, and want a watch that has everything you need, this is the watch for you! Don't believe me? Try it.

The buttons are easy to use, rather than the touch screen, and I was able to download my marathon training workouts on it. It’s pretty accurate on heart rate and works well with my treadmill too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable and tons of features Love garmin stuff. Fenix 6S doesn't disappoint. The right size, tons of features, this thing can do anything. I've probably only scratched the surface of what this gadget can do. I also like the customizability of it all. The battery life is good but it drains fast during my long hikes. Without using it for workouts it lasts a week or so but with multi-day hikes it's lasts a couple days. My only gripe is the screen on the Fenix 6s sapphire is hard to see in the daylight and comes off as pretty blueish. Limits customizable backgrounds and what you can actually see when you're outside in the sun. I don't think I should need a backlight to see the screen in the sun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great watch, but short watch band I received this for birthday a month ago. Loving the watch and all of its features especially for tracking cardio and mountain biking. Only disappointment is the very short watch band that came with. I contacted Garmin to see about exchanging for a longer band but they responded very impersonally and directed me to an aftermarket purchase of a longer band. Seems like a $600 watch should have an option for several band lengths.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like it The battery isn’t as long as I thought, sometimes I cannot delete notification, steps counting is strange. But anyway, it was a good choice to buy it. I wouldn’t do it at full price, because I think it’s overpriced. But with discount it was perfect. It is NOT Apple Watch with the screen as your smartphone. So if you want a beautiful toy that needs to be charged every day, go to apple. Garmin gives you an opportunity to collect all important data about your physical shape while you doing any exercises. For me it was the most important thing. The ability to make my own training is really cool, especially for interval training. I like my watches.

It works as it should, the GPS is outstanding, battery life is as expected, and it's so confortable to use.

The watch is nice and easy to read although the setting are hard to figure out.... I still can't figure out how to have the date show on the watch face.

I had a Garmin forerunner 135 which I loved but it didn’t have the map feature. This watch is heavy and uncomfortable to wear. The instant pace is also not as accurate as my old watch. It’s okay, but would probably go with a different watch in hindsight

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would love to see some more features I love the concept of this watch. I also like the idea that I can use the GPS when I’m outside of cell service. There are a couple things that would just make this a stellar product. Would it be possible for you to make a app with onxhunt. Something that could simply port over your Onxhunt points into the Explore app so that I can use my native GPS in the watch for my hunts. The other thing that would be great, is if you could add features for diabetics that could help manage and give insights into diabetic health and A1C based on data from CGM or glooko import. There is also a correlation between stress and heightened blood sugar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the features As a person who upgraded from a forerunner 245, I'm in love with all of the gadgets and who'shewhat's it's on this new watch. I like the different widgets. I like that you can custom the watch face. I really like the heart rate and pull socks. However sweaty and outside running the heart rate seems a little bit unreliable as you get going. But of course it is a wrist-based biometric not a chest strap so you got to take that into consideration. Overall though pretty good on the biometrics. I really like using this watch for walking, hiking, ellipticaling and all of the other upright activities I do. I do wish however there was a way that was simpler to hook a foot pod for cycling. I have a wahoo cadence monitor for my bike but I have not found a reliable distance and speed attachment for my bike that actually talks to the watch that thus can talk to the Garmin application. Overall though for charting of my activities seems to be great. One thing I would like down the road is get rid of the gold. I love the white. That's why I went with white. But the gold is something to be desired.

It has the features that most basic people look for in a smart watch like steps, time, bp, calories. I just love it. Band is soft and comfortable for the long wear. This watch is worth the money. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty watch. That's about it I waited awhile to get this watch and I finally broke down and bought it. I'm ready to go back to my 920xt. The GPS on this watch is poor. My OWS do not track properly. My heart rate with the strap is all over the place. I live with a great exercise path that is 6.5 miles. With even the slightest tree cover the watch loses GPS. I have an ironman in 12 days and am beyond disappointed that this is my watch. I will be contacting garmin about all my issues. I have unpaired heart rate. I've changed the battery. Not much improvement. Don't know what is issue with open water. The only place it works the best is indoor swimming. Biking is usually OK BUT again same issues with hrm especially when tree covered.

I had been using a Fitbit, but the battery wouldn’t make it all day. When I got the Garmin I took it on an 18 mile day hike. The battery was fine. So I love the battery. Also, I have managed to figure out the data screens. I love being able to see heart rate, time of day, pace and elevation gain at a glance. I have not used the maps yet. I played with them but that is the subject of my next learning session. The Fitbit seemed to give me credit for more steps than the Garmin does. When I get to the top of a mountain and I have 14,000 steps I should have double that by the time I get down. Maybe I’d because I run down. Oh, and the “Strength” feature is fun at the gym.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good :) I previously had a forerunner and was able to make it work for me really well. Unfortunately it died. After a year or so I finally got the fenix 6s, and thus far its been great. I'm still working on customizing it to my liking, but it's easy to work with. I think the garmin connect updates have all been steps in a positive direction. And the additional features of the watch are pretty fun for a data nerd like myself. Especially paired with the new hrm-pro, I'm quite interested to test out the new power measurements in xc skiing, overnight pulseox seems to work alright, and being able to do HRV through garmin and not a 3rd party like I used to have to is quite nice. It pairs well with my sleep app and makes it easy to track and log my daily 'health' in a variety of ways. I'd like to see a few more garmin connect updates, particularly related to generating a functional training log for athletes/coaches to analyze. But not many workout apps I've tried do a good job on that front. In any case, I'm impressed. Battery life has been excellent. The wrist HR monitor is about like any other watch, not really reliable, particularly for exercise. But I don't knock the product for that. If you want that data it's pretty much an absolute necessity to have a chest strap of some kind. The price is a bit steep, but hopefully it will continue to last and make it worth the purchase.

I like the the variety of data it provides i.e. sleep infos, effort put into a run and not just the pace, Spotify, I haven't figured out how to hear the Metronome beat via earbuds to help maintain my cadence. I haven't figured out how to upload PacePro. It's been difficult to understand how to calibrate pace to match treadmill. Unlike my VivoActive 3, I have been unable to set it up so that my watch auto-starts as soon as I start jogging

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not yet convinced.... I had to return my first Fenix due to low battery life and OTHER features that didn't work. With the replacement, the battery sucks up 50% in 2 days. I would expect more since it's a "multi-sport" watch. Also, battery drains a lot faster when you exercise (bike, run or swim) daily... and well that's why I purchased this item. Don't buy it for the "name"....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wish I were happier This was a gift from my husband,who has had his Fenix for about 5 years. He and both of my sons love theirs and was so excited to get me one. I delayed setting mine up for over a week because I tried it on and the band is quite tight. I don’t have a “dainty” small ladies wrist. My wrist is 7.5 inches. So, I tried buying another QuickFit band for it, with no luck. I have emailed Garmin to ask if they sell a larger/longer QuickFit. They were very quick to respond. (Kudos for good customer service.) Unfortunately, they don’t. I would just like to say that all women don’t have a small wrist. I would love to be excited about my new watch, but it’s hard when it’s too tight.

I don't want a watch bigger than my arm so went with the 6s. The strap was too short, even shorter than my wife's forerunner watch strap. Spoke to Garmin rep and they treated me well with great customer service. I since have the 'long' strap now and works great

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not worth the money I got this watch 2 weeks ago, so far, sleep tracking stopped working for 4 days, activity tracking stops by itself in the middle of activity, stress meter stuck at measuring, worked for 3 days, then stopped. Contacted Garmin support, they suggested send out a replacement, will see how is the replacement watch works. Really frustrated, so much money, and the basic functions are not even working. I’m thinking going back to Fitbit, 1/3 of price and works much better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still unsure I’ve had a “fruit” watch which didn’t last long enough in battery and had little metrics. Then I got Fenix 5 and loved it for over 5 years. I figure it was time to upgrade and selected 6S. Oh the size. It’s much smaller which takes a long time (still trying) to get used to. I prefer the larger face and am scared I will break this one. I don’t care for some of the reminders and questions before a run and cannot figure out how to turn those off. I love Garmin for its functionality, endurance, and the fact that I can get metrics in one spot without extra apps. The battery life is perfect for ultras or any running event you can dream of. I suppose I could have gotten the regular 6 for the size, but I would have sacrificed some features of the 6S.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Garmin I started triathlon in 2016 and bought a 920XT, which did everything I needed it to do and it’s still functioning great. I needed to upgrade for battery life to support a full Ironman distance. I love the new fenix 6s. I’m still figuring out all of its capabilities and really like the feature that does a treadmill calibration. I haven’t tried the music capability yet. Garmin’s products are outstanding - I’m looking forward to learning all of the features and in the meantime it does everything I need!!!
