Rated 5 out of 5 by from P800 SureColor Printer is Excellent ChoiceExcellent Printer. I was looking for a good printer for create photographic prints larger that 8X11. Everyone that I spoke with that prints large prints uses Epson printer. I took an expensive chance and purchase the new Epson P800. I was amazed at the quality of the images that I have created using the printer in the last 5 days since receiving the printer. The printer setup with my iMac was just a simple plug-in and you can start your printing of images. Both large and small images are beautifully reproduced from both Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop software. I highly recommend the printer who wants a new printer for producing quality photo prints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful & ProfessionalI haven't had this printer real long but so far I have printed 4x6 and 5x7 photos...love them. Looks so professional. I've also tried art papers & greeting cards for my artist clients and the color and coverage is fabulous. Went back and forth between several printers and happy that I settled on this one. Haven't seen any issues thus far, I run it at least once a week with a few small projects.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent QualityThe P800 is an excellent printer both in terms of inherent quality and the quality of the prints that it produces. I particularly like the large capacity ink cartridges and the wide bed. The P800 produces vivid color prints and black and white prints with excellent dynamic range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epson 800Background: I'm a retired professional fine art printmaker and have made my living reproducing art for galleries and museums for the last 35 years. Epson printers have been my mainstay since the 90s. I've owned and used just about every 44 inch printer Epson has made. When it came time to set up a home studio to print my own art, I chose a Epson SureColor 800. This is an impressive little printer. The print quality equals and often exceeds the 9900 and 9890. The build is as hearty as it's big brothers but sits perfectly on my desktop. The heads never seem to clog despite only being used once or twice a week. And, best of all, my prints sell at the gallery!Wonderful little printer: highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greater Potential, Easy Set-upI have been using Epson printers for probably 20 years or more since having a service issue with Canon, Inc. with one of theirs. Having discovered that many printing companies have started using the Epson print heads, I decided to give them a try... I never looked back. We have a family of accomplished photographers. I was a mentor for my Wife and my Sister and I got her husband into photography. Now we all use Epson printers. She's using the P400 while I just got the P800 and our images win awards everywhere we show them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Printer for Semi ProfessionalI originally bought an Epson 4900 but soon found that I was not printing to the capacity for which that printer was designed. I had many issues with print head clogging and finally gave it to a repair shop when the heads became hopelessly clogged. I knew this was a problem of expectation and not product design as the prints I made up to that point were fantastic. I purchased a 3880 and have been totally satisfied with its performance over the last 3 years. I never once had to deal with a clogged head and only once had to perform a cleaning routine despite many weeks between printing sessions. When the opportunity to upgrade up to a P800 presented itself I jumped on it. Epson makes great printers that I would highly recommend to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect for its segmentI am super happy with this printer. It produces top quality images yet is affordable for the everyday man. I think it is trying to position itself as the upper echelon of the non professional segment even though its results could very easily be put on display in a gallery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new P 800I'm just getting started with this printer &, so far, all is going according to plan for the set up. Now I can't wait to start printing my images. Many years ago I had my own production company in NYC for about 18 yrs. So I'm not a novice to image making. I retired from that years ago & finally decided to pick up the camera equipment & take pix again. This printer will enable me to produce high quality images from my home in the Adirondack Mtns of NY. I'm very excited to be scratching this itch again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great 17" PrinterThis printer reliably produces great prints. So far, I have had no ink clogs nor other problems (three months of use). The prints seem just as good as the Epson 4900 I used previously. The auto switching of black inks is an improvement (although I wish this was unnecessary). I had a bit of trouble with the clarity of instructions for manipulating the changes in the paper trays, etc., but I did figure it out. So far, very happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great printerEasy to set up and start using. I've only used glossy and matt finishes so I haven't experienced any of the hiccups I've read about using art papers or the roll feeder. Although big, it fits on my desk with a 27" Mac. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful printer, beautiful printsReplacing my very reliable Pro 3880, not that I ever had any problems with it and it made beautiful prints, too. I got the P800 for the roll paper adapter. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the roll paper unit is metal! I was having difficulty printing panorama with the P3880. One suggestion, Epson, please make the tape pieces that secure the doors and panels from a contrasting color, like yellow. The dark blue against the black made for removing all of them a challenge. I found them all, but that is sure a lot of tape.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SureColor P800I have had this printer for only a few months, and I have not explored all its capabilities as far as handling larger prints and other media yet, but so far it has performed perfectly with smaller prints. It took me a little while to get used to what parts I had to open up,or not, since it is a little bit more involved than just slapping photographic paper into an All-in-One, but the prints are great!I look forward to trying some special papers and larger prints with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sensitive printerI used one of these from a friend in the summer and just had to get one, and now i own my own. I produce sensitive, subtle images that are of nature, women and abstract urban subjects. This is the printer to produce those with the full gamut of tones and colors. My sixth Epson printer and the best so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epson P-800 best printer yetI upgraded to the P-800 and find that my bird prints, mostly 17x22, of the same photo, have better resolution and depth. This is from a side by side comparison of the same photo with no change of input from Lightroom or the printer. My previous 3880 was an excellent printer but so far I am getting more pleasing prints from the P-800.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A step up from the 3880Setting it up was a breeze. No issues with Mac High Sierra. Haven't put it through it's paces yet, but I'd say from the looks of it, it's an improvement over the 3880. Ink carts that came with the device should've been bigger.
