Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great replacement drives. Works as advertised. I upgraded a 256 GB SS Drive in one computer and a 1 TB HDD drive in another with these 512 GB SS drives. It really improved the performance og the computer that had the HHD. I used Macrium Reflix to clone the old drives onto the new ones, installed the new drives, and the computers booted up without any issues.

The process was easy to install and Dell's SSD quality and performance was awesome. I immediately noticed that the time to boot up (log-on) was cut into less than half the time. All my programs opened and performed better. If you are considering upgrading to SSD, it might possibly add more usage and time to your pc. Moreover, I would recommend this SSD because of its high efficiently and excellent price.

I have a lot more storage and no more overheating concerns. The fan does not kick on at all anymore, no more hot spots!
