Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not The Best Experience. This has been a hellish experience. I'm on my second Crucial and both wouldn't mount to my M2 Studio after I had projects on them. Reformatting nightmare on my end. I wouldn't buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn't store xbox or ps games I bought this product to store games on for my Xbox series x. It will only allow to download music, video, and pictures. Don't advertise a product saying it works with gaming consoles when it clearly does not. I've never written a review before that's how disappointed I was with this product and will never buy crucial anything again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sometimes Fast and Blocks my Imac from Booting when plugged I have an iMac 27 that can handle and edit my 4x5 negative scans at 1.1 Gb in Grayscale 16 bit. I scan from an Epson V750 to the iMac, then backup copy to the Crucial X10 Pro. I can't leave it plugged in when I shut down because it blocks the iMac from Booting. I am concerned the connector will wear out because most data connectors are rated at 500 cycles. I will probably have to get another brand 2 Tb SSD drive for primary use and save this problem drive for secondary security backups.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy crucial product over and over again. I use this product to do my weekly laptop backup. I have not really tested the speed of backup, so I do not have comments on how good or bad that is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast and Tiny I primarily used the driver for backing up a VM. It's super fast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Too soon to tell Plugged in to an iPad Pro to copy some files, after about 5 minutes, it was getting really hot. I unplugged the SSD to let it cool down. I have not attempted to use it again yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disastrous. It failed after a few days use. Disastrous. It failed after a few days use. And it was a replacement for the previous one that failed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warranty Problems Just bought an X10 Pro 2 TB. The warranty has two factors: (1) 3 (or 5) years; (2) TBW. They don't publish max TBW for this device or other external SSDs. So Crucial can arbitrarily deny warranty claims. This is not new. Crucial used to be good, but it looks like Marketing took over everything and they're simply not telling people what they ought to be just to see the warranty..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beware: no USB adapters included It took me two weeks to locate and acquire an adapter to use with my iMac. I ended up purchasing a Lexar SSD that came with the adapter I needed, and I works great. Why doesn't Crucial include an adapter?
