Driver update; not the firmware update fixed issue
Wow! After I finally had tech support from a second technician who pointed to where I can download the latest drivers, the printing is much faster. That said, even the second technician had problems since the chat and access to my computer went well but he told me that we would be re-connected on my reboot or he would call me back if we were not reconnected; he did not call me back, but I was able to resolve the rest of the issues without his help. I am extensive experience with computer support, but most people do not.

Too slow and support
I am very disappointed. This printer prints slow and there is no way to speed it up. It does not have the ability to add memory, and the telephone support was poor; they hung up on me when I asked for help to find out how to confirm that i had the latest drive. I knew I had the latest firmware, but It is not obvious about the driver. I do not want to but I might have to return this printer and get my money back, so I can buy an HP laser. Unfortunately, HP Lasers are more money, but if I can save staff time and the cost to the client, I might have no choice.

Sounded good.....but
Defective out of the box. Had a drum error. Brother sent a new drum and it did not fix the error. We have now been waiting a week for them to ship the replacement printer.

Outstanding Printer!
I love this printer! It works exceptionally well and is a very nice upgrade from my older Brother MFC color laser. I've been using it for several months and have never had a problem with it. I also added the Tower Tray and really enjoy having five deep trays for various types of paper.
