Depending on the tip fitting, they will start feeling heavy and produce dis-comfort sitting in-ear. No complaints about sound quality. The noise cancellation is slightly below par of the regular over-the-head QCs, but that was expected with the smaller form factor. Overall, a good substitute when the over-the-heads are a hassle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sound and NC great...fit/comfort lets them down Pros: Audio quality is 4/5, typical Bose sound if you like it. Fit is solid. Noise cancelling is 4.5/5, typical Bose excellence here. I haven't tried other in ear buds with noise cancelling so it's hard for me to compare Cons: They are bulky and stick out of your ear quite a bit. Personally, I have issues with long listening sessions and comfort. I had hoped this design would improve those issues, but after an hour or so I had to take these out and rest my ears. Considering they are essentially for long plane trips, this doesn't work for me. I went back and forth between these and the Bose 700s over ear, which I've used and like better than the equivalent Sony NC over ears. But ultimately the convenience of in ear won and I decided to give these a try. Unfortunately, their use will be limited and I'll go back to my old Sennheiser over ear NC for longer trips. Non factor: battery life is solid if not exceptional, the charging case is larger than most but doesn't bother me. Fits easily in a pocket and remains much more convenient than over ears to carry when traveling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great earbuds, great sound, love them! These are lighter than you would think. While they seem a little big, they are very unobtrusive when you wear them. I use them while I walk, exercise and work. The sound is great and the noise cancelling is pretty amazing. The charging case seems to hold a charge forever and the earbuds charge quickly in them. The sound quality for phone calls is pretty good too. But, in order for your phone to default to the earbuds, you have to answer the phone by touching the earbud. If you answer by touching your phone, you have to switch the audio to the earbuds, which leaves the person on the other end of the phone saying, "Hello? Hello? Are you there?" LOL. I love these!

They have excellent noise cancelling abilities and have helped me a great deal in my frequent Teams meeting calls. I live in a noisy traffic area in my smallish city and these helped with neutralizing those daily sounds. My audio is clearer than it has even been. Now, if you have a tragus piercing like I do, you may have trouble with the fit. The buds also come with 3 different sized ear ‘holders’ and even on the smallest one my right ear (w/the tragus piercing is a bit tight. I deal with it because these are that great!

It's not too intrusive but it is bothersome.. I find myself continuously having to refit the headphones in my ears so they don't fall out.
