The affordable Fiber Quick Check produces a high-intensity light far brighter than that from an incandescent source, making cable identification a sure thing. And the light source is safe to view directly—no worries about damaging laser light.
The Fiber Quick Check features MICROPULSE technology, which produces an extremely bright red source LED (660 nm, 1400 mcd). Use the pulse mode to make it easier to distinguish a particular fiber, especially in a bundle in the wiring closet. Or use a steady light for testing a spool of cable. You can use the Fiber Quick Check with all types of fiber cable. It features a multiuse coupler for connections to ST, SC, SMA, FC, RSD, and FSD-type cable with 2.5-mm ferrules.
