45 Overall I would agree IIS is a good web server. If I have a non-critical website to throw up IIS is my preference. If I have a mission critical site I prefer Apache. September 28, 2016
55 Works well for me, seems to make sense using something that's built in and supported by MS, rather than install a third party browser and have IIS just sitting there unused. May 9, 2016
55 Simply good hosting platform with solid support and debugging securing the MIME proved tricky but doable with some com+ components April 19, 2016
35 Though it's demanding on CPU and Memory new Nano server promises to make IIS fine grained and affordable, security is unbeatable. April 14, 2016
45 Like other Microsoft products, you learn to do things the Microsoft way, and all is (more or less) well. Other days you will swear IIS is an actual four-letter word, but that's usually because you're trying to do something it just isn't going to like (like run PHP, too). February 26, 2016
45 We use IIS in many of our internally hosted websites here at work and once configured it is pretty seamless! December 15, 2015
45 still farely new to IIS but so far seems way more intuitive then apache or any other Webserver I have used. Bennifits so far out weight the cost October 8, 2015
55 IIS is a great web server. Stable, fast and very powerful. Personally, I prefer Apache on Linux, but if I'm setting up a Windows web server, I always go with IIS. August 11, 2015
