Product Overview

Main Features
  • Presentation remote control
  • RF
The Targus Laser Presentation Remote features a simplistic button layout, making it easy to give presentations. The KeyLock Technology locks non-essential buttons when not needed to help eliminate accidental button presses. The integrated laser pointer allows the presenter to highlight important content while the backlit buttons provide visibility in environments with low lighting. The latest RF 2.4GHz cordless technology works from up to 50ft away, providing flexibility while presenting in large conference rooms or classrooms. The mini USB receiver stores inside of the presenter so it's always ready to use. The device is immediately ready to use and comes stocked with a high-quality AAA Energizer MAX battery. Both stylish and functional, the Targus Presentation Remote is easy to operate for seamless presentations at work or school.

Targus Wireless Laser Presentation Remote Control is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dead on arrival Dead on arrival, either the battery is dead or the product. Should ship with at least one more battery or a working/tested one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from buying a second I bought one of these for my companies conference room over 3 years ago and it has always worked when called upon. I've loaned it out for people to take to clients and used it on a hand-full of PCs around the office without any issues (other than showing people where the power button is). I now need to buy a second one because people are "borrowing" it from the conference room too much!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't be easier, slick design I was skeptical when I purchased and the sales guy said it would be easy to set -up and use. I figured there would be some problem setting it up. (Isn't there always?) Not so...it was so simple to set up and the way the USB fits into the battery compartment, the switches to select which system you would be using was brilliant. I never write product reviews but I had to in this case. It worked so well with no problems....so refreshing!Only complaint would be the hard plastic packaging for store racks. The industry really does need to find a solution for that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work with Mac Mac goes mute which is not good for a presentation... I can't understand why nobody tested this looking at the number of similar reviews.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For MAC, open battery compartment and flip switch For those with Mac problems, have you tried opening the battery compartment and then look for the tiny little switch for switching among PC, Mac KN, Mac PPT?I lost the little radio receiver, does that use Bluetooth and can I use a generic micro Bluetooth receiver for a replacement. I am disappointed that Targus does not show more technical specification details for the receiver such as what Bluetooth version and Bluetooth profiles it uses or if the 2.4 Ghz RF is not Bluetooth but its own proprietary signal.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I lost my transmitter and do not know what to do It works well, but is very difficult to be able to remove the USB transmitter. Also, I lost my transmitter and do not know what to do. I'll have to buy another appliance or sell you just the receiver. Thank you.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from heap plastic The design is really bad. The plastic cover that has to be removed to get to the blue-tooth USB breaks. Additionally, the entire case began to seperate after only a few months.
