NEC's 42" V423 high-performance large-screen display utilizes LED backlighting to deliver both environmental and functional benefits for digital signage. The V423's commercial-grade panel is capable of displaying brilliant imagery and capturing the audience's attention. This Full HD model features built-in speakers and an Open Pluggable Specification (OPS)-compliant expansion slot, which future-proofs the display and allows for the seamless integration of a computer or other NEC/third-party component. Because video, RS-232 control and power are passed internally from the display to the computer, additional cabling is not required, thereby simplifying installations. With integrated temperature sensors and fans, this display is ideal in applications that require extended use, including retail stores, restaurants, indoor venues, training facilities and corporate boardrooms.

NEC V423 42" LED Display is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great profesional product This is a high end monitor not a consumer grade TV.It has just about every input type and can handle high resolutions. The menus are easy to navigate and linking multiple monitors together could not be easier. There is a slot for a single board computer and a touch screen overlay is also an option. A smaller bezel would have made for a better video wall but individually these monitors are excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Of all the features available there's no way to lock the menu to keep end users from tampering with the displays settings*. I contacted support on this and they confirmed. The free NaVi Set Administrator software is a plus. Great product overall.*With the NaVi Set software you can disable the physical buttons on the display to prevent people from tampering with input selections and so on. We ended up not deploying the remotes with the displays to our remote offices to keep users out of the menu. The option cards (Single board computer) available from NEC are very expensive however a Raspberry Pi for around $45 fits very nicely in the same slot.
