Rated 3 out of 5 by from Narrow fields of use Absolutely sturdy and feels capable of absorbing a hard shock. Very comfortable hand grip, although very stretchy so I needed to make it quite a bit tighter than I thought was needed to feel stable. No ability to use the surface keyboards, and the magnetic attachment feature of the pen is lost. It requires sticking the pocket clip into a slot in the exterior rubber case. I don't know why it didn't occur to them to put a long piece of ferromagnetic steel in that same space, but that's what you get. For hand-written notes on documents, it's great to have a secure handhold. If you plan to be doing any reasonable amount of typing when you're out and about, I would stay far away. If just at home, it's not that hard to take on and off for a prolonged session needing a keyboard.
