IBM MaaS360 Patching and Updates for Windows and Mac provides IBM MaaS360 clients with the capability to manage Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OS X + (macOS) devices for patching and updates that are using the available MDM API functions provided by the vendors and powered by IBM MaaS360.

MaaS360 offers an extensive, security-rich, and cloud-based enterprise mobility management platform that provides improved mobility management and enhanced security of mobile devices, apps, documents, emails, and access to the web from a single portal. MaaS360 extends across devices, users, applications, documents, and expenses. MaaS360 solutions are available on a security-rich, multitenant architecture, and offer immediate insight and control without the added costs and complexities of deploying hardware and software, dealing with intricate configurations, and dedicating resources to create and support the solution on an ongoing basis.

BigFix delivers endpoint lifecycle patching and updates by using a unified, lightweight, extensible infrastructure. This solution enables your organization to proactively manage its desktops and laptops. BigFix provides clear, accurate reporting and easy dissemination of patches and updates.

MaaS360 Patching and Updates for Windows and Mac provides enriched unified endpoint management functions, such as, patching, software updates, and OS configuration. Other MDM API functions include password configuration, devices settings, and restrictions; VPN and Wi-Fi profiles; and integration with Microsoft and Apple application stores, Active Directory/Lightweight Directory Access Protocols (AD/LDAPs), and Azure AD/O365.
