ImagePlus Workstation Program (IWPM) is the desktop component for DB2 ImagePlus for z/OS and can also be used as a desktop component of DB2 Content Manager for iSeries (with the WAF feature). Paper documents, photos, drawings, graphics, and many other types of information can be scanned or captured as electronic documents; organized into folders; linked to business applications; routed through work processes; and presented to users on demand. It is easily installed from a single server or central location.
With IWPM, users can capture, display, print, and manipulate bi-tonal, color and grayscale on images in various formats and import or export many different types of documents from images and text to other data formats, such as audio and video. Documents created on PCs, such as spreadsheets and word processing files, are accessible across your enterprise. Security and management of the data are coordinated from a single point in the system.
