Product Overview

Main Features
  • 5-15 Input (6) 5-15 Output. Double-conversion design for superior power protection. The 9130 is constantly monitoring power conditions regulating both voltage and frequency.
9130 does not depend on batteries to smooth out minor power fluctuations. Batteries are conserved for those times when utility power is highly unstable or completely out.

The 9130 uninterruptible power system (UPS), part of the Powerware series, delivers optimal power quality, provides superior power management, resolves utility power protection problems and supplies continuous power conditioning to all connected equipment. Incorporating more than 40 years of UPS power supply design experience, the newly available 9130 delivers essential power protection for IT and networking data center equipment, medical systems, manufacturing process control—or anywhere critical equipment and applications require clean, continuous power.

-Protects against downtime, data loss and process interruption by providing continuous, clean power
-Offers premium performance with a 0.9 power factor and >95 percent efficiency
-Increases battery service life and system uptime with ABM battery charging technology
-Enables prolonged runtime of essential equipment during power outages by allowing for orderly, remote shutdown of non-critical systems or processes
-Provides installation flexibility with a choice of rack or tower designs, both conserving valuable space
-Ensures data and system integrity with LanSafe power management software
-Provides a two-year limited warranty, an extended warranty, Flex and PowerTrust service contracts, and a $250,000 load protection guarantee

More real power. High 0.9 output power factor enables the 9130 to provide its full power capability to modern IT equipment that may have a wide range of leading and lagging power factors. With a 0.99 input power factor,
this UPS avoids the disturbances that some energy converters tend to cause. High efficiency. The more efficient the UPS, the lower your utility and cooling bills. Even a small increase in efficiency can quickly translate into thousands of dollars. When power conditions are within acceptable
limits, the 9130 can operate in a remarkably high-efficiency mode: 95 percent efficient or higher. Advanced design and self monitoring for premium availability. The 9130 continually monitors voltage, temperature, internal element functions, battery health, battery state-of-charge and runtime remaining. If the UPS detects a potential problem with any of these measures, it sends alarms or takes corrective action, with no interruption in power. At the end of an alarm condition, the 9130 automatically reverts from bypass to normal operation. Stronger, longer battery life with exclusive ABM technology. Most UPS manufacturers on the market today employ a constant ‘trickle-charging’ system, which can ultimately reduce potential battery service life by as much as 50 percent. In contrast, ABM technology uses sophisticated sensing circuitry and an innovative three-stage charging technique that significantly extends UPS batteries’ useful service life while optimizing their recharge

The 9130 provides up to 60 days’ notice of the end of useful battery service life. You have Internal batteries +1 EBM +2 EBMs +3 EBMs +4 EBMs

Ample time to hot-swap batteries without ever having to shut down connected equipment. External battery modules for extended runtime. During a power outage, internal batteries in the 9130 keep loads running long enough to gracefully shut down systems. Add more runtime at any time, with up to four external battery modules to run systems for hours if necessary. These battery modules are hot-swappable and can be replaced at any time without powering down the UPS or protected loads. You can also start up the UPS and power its loads with battery power.

Eaton 9130 UPS 1500VA 1350W 120V Tower is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have a couple of these in service, the menu is a bit cryptic but these units have been very reliable, they are very easy on the batteries (batteries will last 4+ years in these units and still pass our testing vs not even 2 years in an APC)they are expensive but worth it, have a bunch of the 230v units in service and 120v units, all without issue

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rock solid, perfect sine wave output, very easy to set up and maintain. I've used Eaton UPSs for over 20 years, since the days of Exide. Product is one part of the story. Service and support is what backs up a great product, and Eaton has done a truly admirable job in making me feel confident that I've bought the best. The 9130 makes life easy with a clear, bright LCD display to view all of the vital load and voltage statistics. The icing on the cake is the ConnectUPS management card that gives the 9130 ability to signal its loads over the network to gracefully shut down, just like the 9130's big brothers such as the 9170+ and the 93xx series of 3 phase units. You can have the UPS send you email notifications, and of course obtain full statistics of the UPS operation as well as internal temperature and humidity levels and temperature and humidity from the optional EMP external monitoring probe. Eaton really makes it easier for me to sleep at night, knowing my mission-critical equipment is protected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have three of these UPSs to handle all of my server racks. The features are great and at a price tag that I could afford. I had never purchased Eaton until this purchase and I don't think I will ever go back to another company. I had one strange issue with a network card that ended up being a strange fluke and was sent a new one in a moments notice and the representative handling my case called every other day until I received the part. Great products, great company!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My company has three of these units... They have proven themselves to be reliable and stable units. I have the optional Network Management Cards installed in these units. I find that the cards are a much better interface then monitor software.
