The 3M? DuPont? Kapton® Polyimide Film Tape is ideal for PCB solder masking and other high-temperature applications. It does not soften at elevated temperatures, so the film provides an excellent release surface. Since this 0.25-inch x 36-yard tape is dimensionally stable at high temperatures, rework is prevented, thus enabling high productivity. It is flame retardant as well as chemical- and radiation-resistant, which protects surfaces to help reduce replacement costs. The silicone adhesive's high temperature performance reduces adhesive transfer, eliminating the need to clean up.
