The iconic, annual football matchup is one of the most well-known games and rivalries in college football, featuring two Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) teams, the Grambling State University Tigers and the Southern University Jaguars. The multi-day event also includes parades, a battle of the bands, fan festival, business expo and more throughout the weekend.
As part of the Bayou Classic television broadcast on NBC, the company will introduce a new spot focused on legacy, showcasing the CDW Legacy Excellence Program, which was introduced earlier this year. The program reflects the company’s commitment to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and digital equity, and was created to provide support for HBCU students through fellowships, scholarships, technology investments and opportunities for education and career growth.
