Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect upgrade for storage Easy to clone to and upgrade the storage capacity of the laptop. You need an inexpensive SSD USB carrier to accomplish this. Clone, then swap. Viola! You have more capacity and a backup or portable storage device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast, high-capacity disk Because of the supply chain issues, I was unable to "build my own" computer with 2 internal hard disks. Fortunately, the sales rep offered to sell me one that had all of the other specs I wanted and to order the second hard disk separately. I had to have a computer shop install it, but it is now working great and very fast.

Love my X1 and thought that working with cloud storage was enough but after a couple of instances where I needed some files for work and not having internet access, I decided to increase the local drive capacity. With the online help from a Lenovo tech specialist, I got my new drive installed in no time, formatted and loaded with OS just like it came from the factory. Easy job given the great instructions and support from Lenovo. Price was competitive and having the assurance that it fit my X1 was all the peace of mind needed.
