Computer Interface Module (CIM) - connects CAT5/5e/6 cabling from the switch to the keyboard, video and mouse ports of the target server and provides 'keep-alive' keyboard/mouse emulation to the server. In addition, the onboard firmware of the Paragon II CIM can be upgraded without interrupting server operation or disturbing the configuration data stored in the CIM.
