Rated 5 out of 5 byTony from CA12CDWe have been using CA12CDs in our dispatch center for 3 years. The connector cords on the remotes tend to fray badly after a couple of years of 24/7 use. When changing the battery, it can take upwards of 30-45 seconds for the remote to turn back on, not an ideal situation in a busy dispatch center. Replacement remotes are difficult to "pair" with the existing base. These units are also unusable on our our aging Plant CML Vesta 9-1-1 phone system due to a conflicting side-tone issue that causes severe "echoing" during calls, but they work fine on our 800 Mhz trunked radio system.

Rated 5 out of 5 byA Dispatcher from Works Great for the most partIt works great, rarely loses it's signal. I've used this setup for multiple years with few problems. Only complaint I would have would be that the charging unit for the batteries quit working long before the unit itself. There needs to be a separate battery charger available for sale to compliment this good product.
