NETGEAR delivers wirespeed Gigabit performance and a full set of Layer 2 management features, as well as Static Routing with unsurpassed affordability. This next-generation, high-speed switch delivers maximum throughput where you need it — to high-performance workgroups at the edge of the network, or as a backbone for Fast Ethernet switches and high-speed servers in demanding small networks. The non-blocking design offers full Gigabit throughput simultaneously to all 24 10/100/1000 ports to ensure reliable performance. Flexible fiber connectivity is enabled through four combination Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) gigabit interfaces. Layer 2 management functionality delivers reliability, control, and availability. Static Routing enables inter-VLAN routing and provides a faster network and more effective bandwidth management. The cost-effective NETGEAR ProSAFE 24-port Gigabit L2 Managed Switch creates a more productive — and future-proof — network. With increasing bandwidth requirements from applications such as voice, video, database management, and other services that slow throughput and response time, you can unleash your network and enable maximum productivity with Gigabit Ethernet for today’s high-performance environments.

Product Reviews
Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 8reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by use 6 of these in our main rack very stable with no problems July 22, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by like most netgear switches i have come across...solid, reliable, and priced well. April 9, 2011
Rated 0 out of 5 by Great device for the price. We have not had any issues to date. It has alot of features but would like it to have a few more. June 23, 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by Pros: Good feature set, good priceCons: firmware is not updated very often, not nearly as reliable as CiscoComments: We have 17 of these in our wiring closets with cisco 3750Gs as a backbone. We have had to reboot these Netgears about every 2 months, and occasionally get some really weird MAC address table problems. Netgear doesn't seem to support the software development side very well, because there are several bugs that have been known for over 2 years and not addressed with firmware updates. they do have a lifetime warranty which is great, and when we have needed to replace one, the service was respectable. All in all these are not bad switches, but you get what you pay for. October 19, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by We've had one of these for about six months and recently installed another. It's stable and the web interface is easy to configure. It doesn't have all the features of a CIsco, but it doesn't have all the price tag either. September 25, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great, Reliable and easy to install. Great features. November 18, 2008
Rated 4 out of 5 by haven't had any real problems with it in like 3 years.Console port for telnet access..ospf...vlan...fully featured November 10, 2008
Rated 2 out of 5 by looses setting on power cycles, a lot December 21, 2007
