Product Reviews
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Compute Cluster Edition - license is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 120.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked great for us for a number of years and lasted much longer that I ever expected. If not for EOL we may have continued running a few of these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from While we have rid ourselves of most of these servers, we still have a couple that are going strong. This was a vast improvement over Windows NT and 2000.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Was okay at the time it was released. I still have a place in my heart for Server 2000, but this introduced too much to give anything less than 5 stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We're almost completely off of Windows Server 2003. It was a great release when it came out, and has carried a great many businesses throughout the years with few issues other than compatibility as time goes on for obvious reasons. Each release of Windows Server has gotten better and better, with more and more features. The only one being the exception is Server 2012/R2. Really? No Start Menu? That's a biggie. Oh well, Classic Shell installation fixed that. Hopefully Server 2016 turns that little hiccup around (it looks promising). We'll still carry Server 2003 for a little longer even though it is end of life, as some of our programs have been a little relaxed in transitioning (not my call). Hopefully next summer we'll see them all gone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best OS for it's time. It's not outdated. I still have a couple of production servers using this OS to this day because of legacy applications.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bye bye little server. We'll miss you with the greatest fervor. Like ten thousand servers in the wind. It was great for what it was.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upgrading from SBS to Server 2003 was a snap and the new O/S ran flawlessly and we had no down time during the upgrade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Server 2003 was one of the first Windows OS that I messed with on a server. Never really had an issue other than what you normally would find in a Windows OS.
