Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great system! I bought this system to upgrade my previous aging Linksys system. Very happy with this purchase and it came with a wifi extender at a great price! Good coverage and easy to set up. So far so good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Powerful router, but legacy compatibility issues I bought this router in January to replace an E2000 router which has worked faithfully for the past 6 years. Overall I'm happy with it, especially the performance boost I got over the E2000, but I'm disappointed with its legacy compatibility.I have 2 laptops, one with Windows 10, and one with Windows 7, an Android smartphone, two Yamaha MusicCast wireless speakers, an iPad, and a Brother wireless printer connected to it. All function great, except the Windows 7 PC which experiences constant internet drops on WiFi, sometimes it regains the internet connection on its own, sometimes I have to disconnect from the network and reconnect. At first, I thought it was an issue with the wireless card in the laptop, but I've used it at a few friends' houses, and public WiFi experiencing no drops whatsoever. I never had problems of internet drops on the older E2000 or on my friend's brand new Comcast-supplied Motorolla ARRIS WiFi modem. I even tested it on LinkSys' WRT3200ACM and experienced no internet drops. Therefore, I've concluded it's an issue specifically between it and the EA7300, probably firmware related.I don't use the older laptop much so it isn't a huge issue, but this is bugging me and I'm probably going to eventually replace it with another non-LinkSys router as LinkSys support has been unable to help me resolve this issue. It's a shame, because otherwise I really like it and it's a great router that covers my entire 2,000 sq. ft. house with no problems, but I need a router that will be reliable and stable with both modern computers as well as older legacy Windows 7-era computers.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from if you like you access all or nothing i bought this to replace an asus router that was getting flakey. i choose this one because of the parental controls. i am more than a little disappointed over the performance. when the controls are set, by hour, to block access, no access. when the controls are set to allow access, no access. i have to go into the router and manually turn the controls on and off. i should have spent the extra for another asus. at least their parental controls work like they advertise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You will like it Purchased a month ago, very happy with it. Easy set up, 2 laptops, TV, tablet, android phone (5 GHz) and range extender all came right up. I had to connect my Belkin Wemo netcam directly to the router to make the first connection. It was OK wireless after that. Looking into a dual band network adapter for my laptop so I can connect using the 5GHz

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Three-peat customer This is the third Linksys router I have bought. NEVER because the old one failed, but because I needed bigger and better! I am a PERMANENT Linksys customer! They always provide what they advertise and I am always pleased with the ease of instillation and use. When ever a friend needs help with their router...I tell them I will get the right one for them and install it...they think I'M A GENIUS!!!
