Product Reviews
Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 142reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Average Performer Purchased this device to boost WiFi coverage and performance in a 2900 sq ft. single story home. There was slight improvement but still needed to use a range extender for full coverage. Setup was VERY easy (you must follow their directions exactly). Speed was excellent close to the router, but with the range extender, the speed decreased dramatically in areas being boosted by the extender. September 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Customer Service Customer service was excellent when I had trouble connecting my new router to the internet. Very helpful and professional. September 11, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fast and easy to install and good speed Installation is just like a piece of cake.Me and my daughter love it. September 1, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Router I've been using this router for about a year now and I love it. For the first 6 months I was using the stock firmware with Smart Wifi which is was easy to use and offered lots of options for customizing your home network. Then I decided to try out open source firmware, and now I have a powerful wireless network with tons of advanced features. It works seamlessly with my (refurbished) RE6500 and between the two my whole house has lightning fast internet. August 22, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed. I purchased this in November of 2015. Do not purchase if you want the parental controls. They do not work correctly. I have to update the unit every week to get them to work. August 10, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Works just fine... when you are in range I purchased this router about 6 months ago when I switched my ISP. My previous Wi-Fi router was supplied from my provider, and the signal covered the entire house, even on the front porch and back deck. After I purchased this router and set it up in the same place my old one was in, my signal range seemed to be cut in half. The signal would not even cover my living room in front of the house. I had to move the router to cover the front of the house, which is where we spend most our evenings, but now that it is summer time, there is very limited signal or no signal strength to reach our back deck when we are grilling out or spending time outside with friends. Overall happy with the product, just wish the coverage was better. June 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Support Top customer support! Really appreciated. The products Wi-Fi range is impressive and the setup is for small kids.... June 22, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Might be more powerful. The move to a Linksys Duel Band AC1900 from another company's Duel Band AC1200 didn't increase signal power as much as I had hoped. I still have the same reception issues 22 paces away from the router in my bedroom, which is a disappointment. The signal must pass through two walls, but to put it kindly, my apartment is made of paper mache, so the walls certainly aren't concrete. I have a range extender, but haven't figured how to make different brands coordinate and don't really think that I should need to use one at 22 paces..My brother sells wireless systems for a nameless company that sold Linksys to Belkin, so I'm hoping that he may have some tricks up his sleeve when he visits. If he does, then there need to be more precise instructions for installation. Putting the wiwi in the center of the apartment is best, but it can't always be done. June 12, 2016
