Product Reviews
Lenovo - solid state drive - 256 GB - SATA 6Gb/s is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Multipurpose Drive Purchased this drive to speed up a Thinkcentre M93. However, decided to replace the Thinkcentre with a Thinkpad T450s. Did not want to RMA the drive, so kept it in case we needed a spare. Shortly after, one of our people with an older Thinkpad T430 complained of performance issues with his system. Since his T430 is not slated to be replaced this year, we tried our best to speed up his system as best as we could by uninstalling bloatware, tuning the swap file, setting the performance settings, etc. Nothing worked. Almost on a lark I cloned the drive to the new SSD drive, and replaced it. Our colleague now reports that he is extremely happy with the performance of the computer now. That being said: warning. This drive is not rated for a Thinkpad, and I'm fairly certain I've voided the warranty for the drive portion of the system. But I still have the old drive, and can put it back at any time. The drive that IS rated for a Thinkpad is over $300, so pick your poison.
