Product Reviews
LG G5 VS987 - silver - 4G LTE - 32 GB - CDMA / GSM - smartphone is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 150.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed I used to have the LG G3 and after a couple years I retired it for the G5. I am very disappointed with the quality of the phone. The power button stopped working after a year, the touch screen malfunctions, it loops on "Charging" and "Charge more before turning on" forever and sometimes I have to completely remove the battery before it can charge at all. I've had to do 3 factory resets since I bought it. However, it does have a decent camera and a beautiful display. Other than that, there is nothing good about this product. I expected better from LG and will not be buying any more products. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Loved the phone until the OS update I pre-bought this phone. It was the first time i was ever able to. I LOVED it! Then the update happened and since then the camera doesn't focus. I searched and its a phone wide issue. Unfortunately I can't go back to the previous OS. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Should be a 5 So ive been hesitant to write this review. This phone should be a 5 star. The screen is great and the cameras are awesome, but wow does this thing have issues. Since day one I've had connectivity issues. I have never had a phone that has such a difficult time connecting to anything. The internet hardly ever works if I'm not within 10 ft of a wireless router. It will say I have full 4g and then tell me I'm offline when I open chrome or spotify. This is a major headache. Ive spent so many long trips in silence just waiting for spotify to connect. I thought this might be a network issue even though my mom has the same service and no problems so I took it in to verizon where I was told that I have to do a soft reset everytime the internet goes. This maybe works half the time. Then there's the fact that almost overnight I was unable to make calls in my house any more. Again mom has same service (verizon) and has no problems whatsoever. Now I have to go stand in the snow or a very specific part of my upstairs to make a call. Then there's the gps. I assumed it was a software issue that would be patched out but later found out the hardware is just defective. The antenna is not good. The GPS NEVER connects properly. Its a major hassle especially since it can take google maps forever to connect to the network and when it finally does it thinks I'm miles away from where I actually am. Its even more of a hassle because I live near the Canadian border and every once in a while it thinks I'm in Canada so it informs me of roaming charges. Thankfully its never placed me there long enough to cost me anything but the prospect is very bothersome. I use maps alot for my job and a year and a half into owning this phone its becoming unbearable. Screen bleed and battery life are also issues but I could forgive them if I wasnt already so extremely let down by this phone. I just want a working phone and for what I'm spending on this thing I think I should have one. Seriously I could have bought a laptop or a nice tablet for the price of this phone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It died out of nowhere I bought this phone September 2016 and it was great, worked really well no issues. However, I went to use it yesterday (less then a year and a half) and it shut off on it's own, wouldn't respond to the charger, wouldn't turn on couldn't bring up the reboot menu or anything. I did take it to the store to look at it and they said that it was a goner. This phone showed no signs that anything was wrong, it had no physical damage to it, wasn't dropped, has a case and it just stopped working. I am really disappointed because now that the phone will not turn on I cannot get any of the information of it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 4 stars at first i loved this phone, after using it for half a year i still think its a nice phone but it does have flaws. GPS stopped working, the wide angle mode camera works, the regular mode is blurry. The phone body developed some cracks. I am writing this review so LG knows the flaws and works on them. I just bought an LG G6, i hope it does not develop the same issues. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from great phone horrible GPS I love the G5, the add in sd card, the camera, the removable battery, well the camera does focus on regular setting after 18 months. The GPS. It works when it wants to and slow reaction when moving. For example maps and pokemon go, I can't play or use maps. I have to use my old S4 when using maps. Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this phone! I could upgrade but I'm hooked on this phone. I love the camera, the easy access to apps and contacts and google apps. I just replaced it because the on button on the back stopped working but I still love it. It would be difficult for me to change phones, I suppose at sometime I will have to, but this phone is so user friendly I don't want to! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
