The DCS-930L, Wireless N Home Network Camera, is a versatile monitoring solution for your home or small office. With mydlink included, this camera provides the simplest way to access and manage your camera, whether via your computer or app on your iPhone, Android or tablet. No technical knowledge required!
Connecting a camera to your network and accessing it has traditionally required complex configuration. Thanks to mydlink home monitoring is now made simple.
mydlink makes it easy to access your camera from wherever you are, whenever it's convenient for you- for free. A step-by-step guide has your camera up and running in a matter of minutes. Then via a simple website you can set up a mydlink account allowing you to view and manage your camera from any Internet connected computer. If you have more than one camera, you can add it to your existing mydlink account and watch all your cameras from a single location.
Accessing your cameras on the go is easy too. Just download the free mydlink app for your iPhone or Android and you can quickly and easily view your camera feed from anywhere with a wireless or 3G connection.
This camera includes additional features such as motion detection and email alerts, via the User Interface. This makes the camera a truly comprehensive home monitoring system for those that want to do more.
You can easily set up a detection area (i.e. a window, or your garage door) on the camera's User Interface, so that emails will be sent to you to notify you of any motion detected.
You can also view up to 32 cameras from a Windows computer using the included free D-ViewCam software (DCS-100). D-ViewCam also has a robust set of features including centralized alert management and video/audio recording.
The DCS-930L camera includes Wireless N technology for wider coverage around your home. Wireless N also allows you to stream high-quality video to remote sites over the Internet. A Site Survey feature also allows you to view and connect to nearby wireless networks with ease. The camera furthermore comes with a standard Ethernet port for connections to traditional wired networks.

Product Reviews
D-Link DCS 930L mydlink Wireless N Home Network Camera is rated 2.6 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Died after one year, great images, crazy setup. Stopped working after two years. During that time it reliably sent images via FTP without much intervention. I also have a D-Link DCS2330L and a DCS942L in my home security network. The positive here is you can set it up and let it run unattended as it should. My biggest negative is each of these D-Link cameras has a different web interface menu; there is no standardization of the setup or maintenance menus, that is downright confusing; it is like a different person wrote the menus for each model of D-Link camera. Some of these cameras require downloading third party video support, and Chrome will not support some formats. I wrote D-Link tech support and they say they are aware of the problem... but you might need alternative browsers until they figure it out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good wireless camera for the price, easy to set up. Although others have complained about the setup, it's pretty easy using the Windows-based setup. Purchased this for for much less than the original price, and no other camera offers the same bang for the buck. Noise detection, motion detection, with notifications (if you want them), and streaming audio. Would it be nicer with video and night-vision? Sure, but at additional cost.I like the fact that I don't have to delve into my router's setup to enable port-forwarding (not all routers have it), and I can access the camera from my desktop or phone. Not the most powerful, no pan-tilt-zoom, but again, I got what I paid for!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gave up in total frustration Worked for hours trying to install. Using the install wizard install seemed to work well until the point where one has to save the settings (this never worked). Even resorted to installing as a wired camera. The install worked in the direct wire mode. Picture on the laptop was good and clear. I did not buy this camera for direct wire. I put all the stuff back in the box and it will be returned to Menards tomorrow.MJDENN

Rated 2 out of 5 by from get what you pay for Belkin might be better I had originally borrowed a Belkin netcam from a friend to keep an eye on my dog when I am not at home. Their netcam was SUPER easy to set up (easier than this Dlink cam). But their service was unreliable. At times when I wanted to check on my netcam their server was down and they would give a fake response that my loggin was incorrect. So for that reason alone I looked for a different brand to purchase. This Dlink netcam was fairly easy to set up. But the belkin was much easier. Everything was wireless. Even the set up.The picture on the Belkin netcam was FAR more clear leaving me very disappointed in this Dlink cam. I guess if you are just using this cam to keep an eye on the sump pump you don't need crystal clear picture - but if you are trying to watch any action in your house -the Belkin was far supior (when it worked#.Which leads to my next comparison. The Belkin had more settings available. You could choose how many frames per second to watch. You could also choose how sensative to motion the alerts are. This Dlink has none of those options. You get the standard factory settings and that's it.Also, this Dlink cam REQUIRES EXTRA programs #java apluglitedl.cab) to be downloaded onto what ever computer you want to view this from. Since I cannot download programs onto my computer at work I am STUCK watching this from the app on my tiny phone screen.I am NOT impressed with this webcam - but I guess it is the lesser of 2 evils. At least this one has been reliable for the 5 days I have had it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DCS-930L This is the second camera I have had from D-Link. First one didn't work and neither does the second. My laptop shows it in the network but their flawed software can't find it and the wait time is 25 min. or more. Needs to go to the trash total junk!!!!!!!!!!!!
