The Cisco UCS CNA M73KR-Q QLogic Converged Network Adapter is a QLogic-based fiber channel over Ethernet mezzanine card that provides connectivity for Cisco UCS B-series blade servers in the Cisco Unified Computing System.

Designed specifically for the Cisco UCS blades, the adapter provides high-performance connectivity for SAN and LAN traffic. One Cisco UCS CNA M73KR-Q can do the work of a discrete fiber channel host bus adapter and Ethernet network interface card. This convergence means fewer cables, fewer switches, less power consumption, reduced cooling, and unified LAN and SAN management.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I appreciate the interface for UCS as it makes it much easier to manage specific scopes without having to go to the command line on a console. But you still need the console; I did not appreciate that I had to locate a port replicator and rollover cable to connect to the fiber interface.

Configuring it also quite difficult, but afterwards, its start to perform just like any ordinary servers, but with all the Cisco feature build around it. let say FCoE, best thermal dissipation, and rock solid performance and stability. Installed using vmware ESXi designed specific for cisco UCS.
