Product Reviews
AMD Black Edition AMD FX 8320 / 3.5 GHz processor is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I had a choice back then between Intel and AMD, tight on budget as a student I purchased the AMD FX 8320 (Black Edition) and to this day, I've had zero problems with it. One of the wisest decisions and investments I've made.I do a lot of extensive video editing using Adobe's Creative Suite, touched Maya a little bit and no lag handled it fine. I have multiple tabs open with chrome (can't close my tabs cause I'll need it later-syndrome) playing youtube, soundcloud, vimeo, and editing at the same time.Avid gamer as well, warframe, streaming with Steam link, no lag, again, while youtube is open as well. You can not go wrong with this card. For a 7 year old CPU that can still handle what I throw at it, yes, I still recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This processor is awesome! I bought it a few years ago and I can not find a reason to upgrade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great processor. I am a huge supporter of AMD prodcuts, they are the only CPU I will put in any custom builds I do. This is a great processor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As a small non profit we are always searching for the best bang for the buck , these are great 8 core budget price cpus ! It is built on a mature 32nm node which explains why it has a high TDP (95W) although not that high given that it is clocked at 3.2GHz with a boosted speed of 4GHzI use it on my bare metal virtual machine controllers and for Freenas both run like bears !!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent CPU for price range. I use it in a machine hosting several VMs and running network backup software for clients PCs. The system never runs low on resources or skips a beat! I also have the same processor in my home system that is used as a software development/gaming rig/media server.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This processor is a beast. I feel that while Intel Processors might edge out AMD overall however if you look at price compared to performance AMD is still a viable alternative. I used this chip in several different builds. One was a video surveillance server with 32 HD cameras and it performs really well. Another was a box used as a Citrix Xenserver Virtual Host, it was a test server I built for myself. It has performed really well it both cases for me. It didn't cost a lot to build a great computer. That is what I liked about it. Are there faster chips out there? Yes. However, I feel for the cost this processor really stands out. Really wish though that AMD would give us an AM3+ MiniITX board.
