ZyXEL G-4100 v2 is an all-in-one hotspot gateway that provides secure free or charged Internet access according to business policies. It provides authentication and accounting function for both wireless and wired clients, and supports up to 100 concurrent users. The G-4100 v2 work with SP-200E statement printer to generate and print tickets with account, password, and pre-configured time for Internet access hours automatically through a few button clicks on SP-200E. All functions required for hotspot services are selfcontained in the G-4100 v2.
G-4100 v2 has embedded and very easy to configure authentication server, the hotspot business owner, such as coffee shops, book stores, hotels or resorts, does not need any other hardware or software for to provide the hotspot service, it's all in G-4100 v2. On the other hand, G-4100 v2 also support RADIUS server for large scale of hotspot service deployment for chain-stores, airport terminals to provide roaming capability from one store to another through centralized authentication and accouting.
To provide the best hotspot user experience, the G-4100 v2 featured with rich networking functions, including IP PnP function, DHCP server, NAT, MAC address filtering, IP address filtering, etc. The IP PnP technology enables the ultimate user experience of "No configuration needed at all". It transparently take care of the IP networking before user know it, dramatically improve user satisfaction and reduce technical support effort.
