The other magnetic ones on the market either didn’t protect the iPad enough or weren’t stable enough as they needed to be on a flat level surface, which I rarely have during my work in patient care. I tried a few brands and the zagg keyboard is also really nice to touch and use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rugged - Best Keyboard on the Market Over the years, I have purchased different Zagg keyboards for my different iPads. I like the Rugged Book the best because: 1) it provides the most protection, 2) the keyboard is the most veratile (you can put the iPad screen at whatever angle you chose and stays in place), 3) has backlit keys, 4) has the feel and sound of a desktop computer keyboard, and 5) is a great price. I would like to see the backlighting of the keys a little bit brighter and an on/off button to turn them on. I think the backlights were brighter on a Rugged Book I had years ago - at least that’s what I remember. These are just improvements on an already superior product. The Rugged is better than any other keyboard out there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It Does Not Get Much Better Than This Recently as the owner of an Apple iPad Air 2 with a Zagg Keyboard which I very much liked, I purchased an Apple 10th Gen iPad and again I purchased a ZAGG keyboard for it. As much as I like the previous keyboard, the current one is like night and day, as to the “Feel” of the keyboard and its responsiveness. One will never go wrong in attaching ones iPad to this quality product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rugged and packed with features This keyboard/case fits all of my needs. The keys are backlit, which helps in a lighting situation I have. There are 2 bluetooth channels which allow me to switch to the second channel and type directly into my phone, a feature I’ve used several times. The half of the case that fits over the ipad detaches easily from the keyboard, and can be flipped for viewing videos or playing games that only require ouch interaction. I am a musician who uses a tablet music stand and the iPad fits on the stand without removing it from the case, which is ideal for me. I also like the apple pen holder, which keeps the pen handy just above the typing keys. I am very pleased with this case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Didn’t receive product pictured on the box nor ad I ordered this product because I have one for my 10.2 iPad and I think it the best for my multi-adaptive environment. The product in the box doesn’t match the pictures on the box nor in the ad on the ZAGG website. After reaching out to customer service, they shipped me another one and it didn’t match the product pictured either. I’ve emailed ZAGG multiple times regarding the replacement and no reply after over a week. Quite disappointed. I wanted the procduct pictured; however, it appears as though they are good with shipping customers a product that is not the expectation based on the pictures advertised on ZAGG and on the product box. With a 3 hour time difference, calling them is nearly impossible with my schedule. I cannot see shopping (ZAGG) here ever again once this complete debacle is done and over. To think I was excited waiting for the 1st case. When something works, why change it?? The change was NOT (in my opinion) an improvement.

When we went to close it, the top piece are off - it would not stay in one piece to protect the iPad. Sadly, I returned it.

The hinge is so tight that when you go to close the Rugged Book, my Ipad actually comes out of the hinge assembly. I bought a previous Rugged Book some years ago for an earlier version IPad and was great. This product is unusable.

I’ve unfortunately dropped my iPad a couple of times on accident and it has protected my iPad perfectly. I have no issues on functions, keyword is spot on and it makes using functions of my iPad flow effortlessly. The problem with this is solely for me, appearance. This product scoffs and scratches very easy and it is very noticeably. Be careful as to what surfaces you set it down on, because it will show scratches, blemishes, and scraps in the finish of the product. I know it’s a tough book but it can look unattractive quickly, please have a space in your bag or backpack separate for this. I’ve had to place some stickers on it.

I love to product but just today I dropped the iPad in the case and cracked the screen on the device. iPad was purchased same time as The Rugged Book. I’m not blaming anyone but myself but it would have been nice if it would have protected the iPad. I love the functionality of the case and key board. You guys hit a home run in that department. I definitely would recommend to anyone who needs a keyboard but would also recommend not to drop their investment as well.

My only issue thus far has been with the slot for the Apple Pencil. It is a bit loose, particularly with the flattened side on the second generation one. Many times I have opened the case and found the pencil running loose, depending upon the case orientation.

The holder makes getting the glass positioned properly very easy. As always the key to no bubbles is proper cleaning of the screen and working in a dust free environment. Very pleased!

Ordering was easy, especially when I unexpectedly got a 20% off coupon for answering a question on a FAQ page. That made my decision on which protector to purchase easy. It arrived in about two days, much faster than I was expecting, especially in these days of very slow delivery. I was very nervous about installing it myself. Last time, years ago, the young man at the Verizon store did it. This pandemic time I was on my own. Your installation video was helpful although it took me a while to figure out I would have to use my fingernail to loosen the white backing piece before it would peel back . The video makes it seem easier than that. The plastic frame made placement easy and I was proud of myself for getting all the bubbles out. My only regret is that in the time it took me to figure out how to peel that white piece back, a tiny dog hair floated down onto the surface of the phone that I had carefully cleaned before starting the peeling step. Of course I didn’t notice it until the next morning while reading a page with a white background. I was upset with myself at first when realized what had happened. Now I accept it as a permanent reminder of my life during these trying times. I don’t suppose there is an easy way to peel the protector back at this point to get it out of there?

I had difficulty installing it (peeling off the backing from the adhesive side wasn't quite clearly demonstrated in instructional video. (I kept pulling on the "Tab 1", when in reality, the stiff white edging needed to be pulled off). Ended up going to a CPR to have screen installed. So far, everything is clear with no color shift.

When I got it back the screen protector was shattered and judging from the scratches on the back of my phone the 2 year old tiger had investigated a little. Once I removed the screen protector though, my phone screen was perfect, like nothing happened at all! Without this screen protector I would easily have needed a new phone.

It is quite thick with no curved edges so when I'm swiping up from the bottom, I feel like I'm scraping my thumb against the sharp glass (but I guess newer iPhone models don't have the home button there anymore and don't need to worry). The screen gets streaky and absorbs grime very easily though it is possible to clean

When I noticed one was missing, I reached out to Customer service to let them know, and I heard nothing back. I’ve dropped my iPhone more times than I would like to admit and though there were a few hairline cracks and a small chip from dropping my iPhone over the past 3 years this glass screen still did its job! When it came time to upgrade my iPhone, I removed the glass screen (note: easy to do and no sticky residue) and case. The guy from the phone store was quite impressed how “clean” my iPhone looked. I must say my iPhone did look brand new and I did get a much better trade-in value to apply towards my upgrade!! Of course, I purchased a new glass screen for my new iPhone! Thank You Zagg!

The install method is not as easy as previous models, the protector is slightly crooked. And it has already cracked! I ordered a replacement using the warranty process because I was told the dust bubbles couldn’t be fixed and the new screen protector has already cracked after 2 days of use, I haven’t even dropped it. I would just order a lower priced zagg screen protector next time.

But the touch sensitivity is not as good as my last clear glass screen protector without the blue light blocker and the Zagg costs about 4x more. I have to swipe or hit a button a few times for it to do what I want. This has happened often but not every time. I am giving it 3 stars because of the cost and touch sensitivity.

This version has claims about antibacterial surfaces etc, but the real reason anyone buys these is for screen protection - period. Even with the fitting frame that comes in the box, it's still easy to get the alignment off, and with the curved edges of the new iPhones, you might end up with a bit of gapping or bubbling on the top corner edges. Minor things. With Zagg, I know my glass screen is well protected.

This replacement was just as easy to install with no bubbles, and i feel that it has little to no impact on picture quality from my phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like my new Zagg I like my new Zagg screen protector for my iPhone SE (2nd generation). I like how true the colors are and the blue light reduction. My fingers still work on the screen through the protector. I wish it was fingerprint proof though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rugged, stout feeling, but not easy to use. Out of the box, feels sturdy, sturdy enough for teen use. Removing the iPad part from the keys is difficult as well as attaching it back on. The latches when opening and closing are very stiff. Those three things right there are ease of use issues, make it a 2 star for me.

The battery last for months without recharging, keyboard is comfortable and much more convenient for me on flights to take my ipad and this cover-keyboard than my laptop. I haven’t tried dropping it, so someone else will have report in on that one.

Our field employees are hard on our iPads and this rugged book keeps the devices protected when accidently dropped in the field and while traveling on bumpy lease roads. The keypad is functional and easy to connect to Bluetooth. My only complaint is that the rugged book does not charge while charging the iPad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best keyboard! This is my second Zagg Rugged Book, and they are the best! They are a bit heavy but it’s meant to be that way. I find it hard to separate the ipad from the keyboard, but don’t think I’ll be doing that much anyway. The keys don’t loose their silkscreen which is great because sometime I need to look at the keyboard to see where things are. And, very happy they added the backlight for the keys!
