Quality keyboard
I think this keyboard easily competes with the more expensive apple keyboard. The only problem I ran into is a FaceTime issue. The keyboard does not work while you are on a FaceTime call. I bought my iPad less than two weeks ago so I’m sure it’s a problem with the keyboard. Other than that I have no complaints. However, for collaboration efforts it makes it kind of difficult.

A Solid Choice
This is my second Zagg rugged keyboard (had the first for about six years) and this one is more refined and a joy to type on. I buy these more to protect my electronics and make it easier to hold, is is a great stand-in when I don’t want to haul around my laptop.

Bluetooth connectivity starts quickly, doesn’t drop. The keyboard itself is substantial, solid and yet not pretending to be a full laptop keyboard. This is a great product.

Zagg has really improved their iPad keyboard cases. I absolutely love that I can easily remove my iPad from the keyboard with the magnet, while still keeping my iPad protected with a case. It was a great idea to make the iPad sit in the groves of the keyboard magnetically with a place for Apple Pencil. The case for the iPad itself is slightly heavy but it’s manageable. I really like that there are two viewing angles. I’m happy with my purchase and would recommend.

I must admit I made some modifications as enlarging the case hole on the back to make it compatible with my iPad pro 2020 (bigger camera module).
The keys are solid, not mushy, the case is very sturdy, I have no worries for the protection.

The original keyboard was DOA and now the replacement keyboard after 3 months has a dead m key. Also the cap shift key once pressed once continues to produce capital letters. I need another replacement.

Better than Apple keyboard
For my new iPad Air 4 I first bought the Apple keyboard but didn’t like the feel of the keys and it wasn’t stable and substantive enough. I liked the Zagg keyboard I used for my old iPad, so bought this new one. This Zagg keyboard and case is much better. Keys float better and complete rig is much more stable. The only negative is it is heavier than I had hoped. Oh well.

Going to look for a different keyboard & case for my new iPad
The keyboard itself is fine. The case and how it attaches to the keyboard is the problem. The cutout around where you place your finger to unlock the iPad doesn’t leave enough room to place enough of your finger to be effective. The side where you can attach the Apple pen is flexible and so it doesn’t fully cover that edge of the iPad. The magnetic connection between the case and the keyboard is weak and they disconnect easily ending up in dropping your iPad. Luckily, the case has protected the iPad from damage. The two angles you can place the iPad in in the keyboard don’t offer enough variation in angle to make the two options make sense. They don’t include a charging cable. I called customer service asking if one should have been included and they said no because you can use your iPad charging cable, because the keyboard needs to be charged so rarely, it shouldn’t need to be charged the same time as your iPad. I can understand that, but considering how expensive this is, you should have the option to have one included.

Feels good when printing - like with a standard keyboard; I like the different screen standing angles and it’s great that there’s a backlight on the keyboard. Good bonus that I can easy take (disconnect from magnet) iPad from keyboard with protecting case, and simple something to write or draw with Apple pencil. I hope that keyboard will work longer than my previous Logitech Slim Folio Pro (same problem as most people, the 7 or 8 keys have stopped working). And the most biggest plus that this keyboard for iPad Air 2020, fits for my iPad Pro 2018. ??Only one difference, that iPad Pro has Face ID but this keyboard for iPad Air has cutting for fingerprint, but for me it’s not big deal :)
So, for me it’s good product ??

Perfect fit for my handicap
I recently signed up for Xfinity Mobile’s iPad service along with a new iPad Air 4. I immediately went searching for a keyboard case that (1.) would protect it from breakage if it fell and (2.) would fit on my lap comfortably. (I am handicapped with a stroke. I‘m now limited to one hand and a wheelchair. I fumbled my old iPad and cracked the screen.)
I found a very expensive competitor’s keyboard case that fit the first criteria, but it did not fit on my lap at all—too long. I found the ZAAG Pro Keys Keyboard Case. It looked just right. After I ordered it, I found it to be a perfect fit for my needs stemming from my handicap. I even fumbled it, dropping it to the floor, and “no damage”!
Great job ZAAG! Perfect! So well made! I love the Apple Pencil storage, the illuminated keys, and its many other features.
I put the competitor’s case on Craig’s List, but nobody wants it! :-(

I couldn’t stomach $300 for Apple’s Magic Keyboard, and I’m glad I couldn’t.
The Pro Keys keyboard/case does everything I want — secures the iPad Air 4, provides a very good typing experience, keeps the portability of the device — for a much lower cost.
I was fortunate to take advantage of ZAGG’s post-Christmas discount, so I spent roughly $70 on a great product, instead of $300 for a product that gave me misgivings.
I had a great experience with a previous ZAGG keyboard/case for my iPad Air 2, and that will be gifted to a family member, still in the case. That’s why I hoped ZAGG had created a solution for the iPad Air 4.

Great case and Keyboard, except…
I love the keyboard/case. The only drawback are the keyboard lights are a little faint even on high and I can’t get the Touch ID to work as it is buried too far down. It doesn’t read my fingerprint. To me, those are minor. It’s a great price though. I have a Brydge keyboard on my personal iPad. It’s better, but it’s heavier and twice the price.

Good idea but execution needs to be better
I love the vision of what this case could be but the actual product is lacking. What made me buy this case was the fact that I needed a folio with keyboard and was drawn to the fact that the keyboard detached from the case. But, I encountered some problems.
1) it’s just an overall too heavy of a case when the keyboard is attached. It makes it rest bulky and you never really have confidence that the keyboard and case are attached securely. It’s not that they detach from one another easily but you just are always making sure the thing is connected.
2) Touch ID is rendered useless because you can’t put your whole finger on the power button due to the case cutout not being big enough.
3) This irritated me most. When you are holding the iPad the side that has a slot for the Apple Pencil is uncomfortable to grip. I’m sure it feels better if you have a pencil stored in the slot, but if not, it’s just an awkward grip that you would most likely avoid.
They keyboard does work well and I like the idea. I’ll just keep a lookout for an updated model.

This appears to be best bang for the buck for my IPad Air 4. Not only did I get a good case protector but a bonus keyboard which I use more than I thought I would.
The trade off is that the complete package is a tad heavy. No regrets on this purchase. My last case for an IPad Air 3 was a Zugu which was a good case but for a few dollars more the Zagg gives you a keyboard and case. I’m happy.

Protective and functional
I honestly bought this case because most of cases are just thin and flimsy. The keyboard was secondary—though I do use it more than I thought I would. This case feels protective but not overly heavy. The outer part has a nice feel to it. The magnets work well for holding the outer case onto the other part of the case, and the two upright positions. The keyboard is nice and tactile for how thin it is and the pencil charges well through the case—something I know a lot of sturdier cases like this seem to struggle with from reviews. Overall a solid product, especially since I got it on the Black Friday sell at a crazy good price. I always use Zagg for my tempered glass screen covers, but their cases, at least this one is solid as wel.

Protective Case, Decent Price
Bought this for a new iPad Air 5. It is a very protective case, but heavier than my previous Apple keyboard. The fit is very tight and I had to push hard to get it into the case. The keyboard is sizable due to the extra function keys. The keys are slicker than I prefer, also compared to the Apple keyboard. Overall, protective but heavy, keys have more function, but slick. Bluetooth connection seems to work well. The Apple keyboard had a direct connection and did not need to be recharged separately.

The Pro Keys are the perfect productivity vehicle with my iPad Air.
I wanted lighted keys and protection for the iPad. The Pro Keys furnish both. The typing experience is fine on the slightly undersized keyboard, and the dual position magnets hold the iPad in position for viewing on both my desk and my lap.
When the keys are closed shut over the iPad screen, a magnet holds them securely over the screen in the event of a drop.

Nice case with some flaws
This is a nice case and very durable. The magnets that hold the screen up when using the keyboard are very strong so that is very helpful. It's kinda tough and confusing how to get it to stand but if you fumble with it enough times it will work. My biggest gripe is that you cannot attach the iPad to the case when you aren't using it (on the flap opposite of the keyboard). That would make it a perfect case forme and many other users.

It’s the delivery time. If I had known the items would have taken so long I might have looked for the items somewhere else or just waited and bought in a retail store. Change the method of shipping and use UPS. Do Not Use FedEx.

Best Keyboard Case Ever!
This is my 5th Zagg keyboard case for an iPad and it is by far the best one. Was going to buy keyboard case at Apple store where I bought 4th Gen iPad Air but the store reps actually said the Zagg case is far more protective — so I bought Pro Keys which was only one available for this iPad. Love the magnetic holders that enable you to view screen on slight or severe tilt and then when you close it up magnets hold the case together with a flap at top that secures it. It seems lighter and sleeker than my former Zagg case but box said it’s protected from a 6 foot drop. Keyboard is like my laptop keyboard, easy to use — all in all a great case!

Great product! The case protects the iPad when I need to use it as a tablet and the keyboard greatly enhances the productivity when using the iPad as a laptop.
The only issue is that delivery time seems slower than other vendors and I could not find this in nearby electronics shops.

I love this keyboard. It holds my pencil, which I didn't know was possible in a case. I love the keys and how they feel when I type. Also love the keys that help with navigating my iPad (home button, etc.).

Works well, but…
No complaints except minor ones:
1. Key surfaces are slightly slick; a rougher surface would keep me from accidentally sliding off a key when keyboarding fast.
2. Weighs significantly more than my previous Logitech keyboard.
3. While cute, magnetic force to hold the keyboard to the iPad, it is not strong enough to keep the iPad from occasionally slipping off the case.
Otherwise, I am pleased with it. Keyboard works well. Case provides good protection. I have had no significant problems at all.

Great keyboard, the keys feel like a normal keyboard with a good click. The only problem is if you use it on your lap the ipad is too heavy and wants to fall backwards.

Zagg is a quality brand yet less expensive when compared to Apple’s folio or magic keyboards. I like the fact that I can detach it from the keyboard and my ipad will still have the maximum protection. Typing on the keyboard also feels good, even better for an ipad keyboard. I will buy Zagg again on anyday!

This iPad case and keyboard has everything we were looking for. Love how the keyboard can be completely and easily detached from the iPad while keeping the case on the iPad for protection. Apple Pencil stays put with the magnet at the top of the case. All works great!

I bought the Zagg keyboard for my I-Pad Air 4th generation to replace the Logitech keyboard I purchased with the I-Pad. I hated the trackpad on the Logitech. I don’t understand why you need a trackpad with an I-pad, and when you inadvertently hit it (constantly!), it causes all kinds of problems. I am very pleased with the Zagg thus far. It does everything I want it to do, which is typing. And it does it well. My one criticism is the way that the I-Pad and its case are separate from the keyboard. I find opening and closing the keyboard and fitting the I-Pad into one of the two slots provided awkward and time-consuming. I’m sure I’ll get used to it, but it’s going to take some time. Otherwise seems to be a very good product.

In the past I have always bought the rugged book keyboards however, this time, with the Air 5th gen, I decided to go a little lighter. The keyboard feels great. Typing is natural and response is excellent. The duel bluetooth capability with my phone is also a plus. Very stable and easily packed away.

I'm not submitting a review because it wouldn't be a good one. I love the keyboard and case, but it was so hard to get my iPad into the case, that it cracked my spigen screen protector in the bottom tight corner. I previously used the ipad in a logitech keyboard case and didn't have that problem. It was secure, but not so tight to make it difficult to place and remove the iPad. So I wasn't happy to see my screen protector crack, but I don't want to give a bad review. I'm simply trying to give Zagg feedback.

The case arrived damaged. It had 2 broken keys. I had to return it and the website is not very friendly.
I did order another one and am happy with it. The keys are a little harder than I’d like them to be but the keyboard connected very easily, and the case/protector it comes in is nice, the slot for the pencil is nice to have. For a fraction of the cost of the apple keyboard, it’s definitely a good value

This is a nice case with a very good keyboard. But, there are two flaws in my opinion. First, this is a very heavy case. Coming from a nice snap on case with a cover, this cover/keyboard makes bery weighty …. about as much as an ultralight laptop. Second, when you remove the keyboard, the case does not have a cover for the screen, because it’s now attached to the keyboard. So if you want to travel with just the iPad, you need to snap on another cover.

Love the keyboards
Keyboards are.great however when we ordered them, paid for the 1-2 day shipping because we had 7 days left before we were leaving on vacation and these replaced some low budget keyboards that we got and didn’t like them. It did say 1-2 day +processing when they were ordered. Didn’t realize that the processing would take three days. The keyboards were delivered the day we left, which was after we left to go to the airport.

I love the vision of what this case could be but the actual product is lacking. What made me buy this case was the fact that I needed a folio with keyboard and was drawn to the fact that the keyboard detached from the case. But, I encountered some problems.
1) it’s just an overall too heavy of a case when the keyboard is attached. It makes it rest bulky and you never really have confidence that the keyboard and case are attached securely. It’s not that they detach from one another easily but you just are always making sure the thing is connected.
2) Touch ID is rendered useless because you can’t put your whole finger on the power button due to the case cutout not being big enough.
3) This irritated me most. When you are holding the iPad the side that has a slot for the Apple Pencil is uncomfortable to grip. I’m sure it feels better if you have a pencil stored in the slot, but if not, it’s just an awkward grip that you would most likely avoid.
They keyboard does work well and I like the idea. I’ll just keep a lookout for an updated model.

Eight out of the box the "On" key didn't light up as it should and I could not be sure if the keyboard was on or not without trying to type. The "Enter" key does not work at all and I went through their support tips and searched the internet and could not find a solution Returning to Amazon.

What is sense of getting a beautiful lite air iPad and cover it in this super heavy case. It is as heavy as my MacBook. I have 2 other older zagg keyboard cases that broke in the hinges. But not as heavy. It’s too much trouble to return it.

I can’t complain, this is a good case. Good ones aren’t cheap, but this one was less expensive than some. I wish the actual part that holds the IPad was stationary when attached to the Keyboard, but it’s ok.

keyboard feels great, connects quickly and is responsive. The case is great; it provides protection even when removed from the keyboare - this was a big reason I chose this one over the apple brand. Also, the price makes this a very good vale. Other color options would be nice, but the gray is pretty good.

Best Keyboard Case Ever!
This is my 5th Zagg keyboard case for an iPad and it is by far the best one. Was going to buy keyboard case at Apple store where I bought 4th Gen iPad Air but the store reps actually said the Zagg case is far more protective — so I bought Pro Keys which was only one available for this iPad. Love the magnetic holders that enable you to view screen on slight or severe tilt and then when you close it up magnets hold the case together with a flap at top that secures it. It seems lighter and sleeker than my former Zagg case but box said it's protected from a 6 foot drop. Keyboard is like my laptop keyboard, easy to use — all in all a great case!

Great Case and Keyboard
I am a DPT Student and have been using this case for about a month. The iPad case feels durable and protective. The detachable keyboard has been perfect for transitioning between note taking with an Apple Pencil and doing assignments. The keyboard feels frail, so I am hoping it will last throughout my time in school.

The keyboard is great. The keys have a nice feel to them and the backlight is nice. The function keys reduce the amount of times you have to touch the tablet screen while typing. Battery life seems good. I have not had to charge it since I received it. The protective case on the tablet itself is great, and necessary. The only real complaint I have is that the case does not attach very securely to the keyboard. On a few occasions when I felt the tablet falling I would grab the keyboard portion of the case only to watch the tablet fall to the ground. Thankfully the case on the tablet is rugged. I'm satisfied with the purchase overall.

Far Exceeded any Expectation
I spend several hours each and every day on an iPad and I have always used a keyboard case. I do so for the protection as well as for an easier and more natural typing interface. I have used Zall, Logitech and a couple of others over the last several years. The Zagg Pro Keys that I purchased for my new iPad Air 5th Gen. is fantastic. It fits snugly and lines up perfectly and the level of protection I feel is far superior than anything that I have had in the past. The keyboard has an amazing feel which has been so difficult to find in a keyboard case.
When I purchased it I did not anticipate using the magnetic detachable feature to remove the iPad itself from the keyboard section of the case. Now that I have it and have tried it I love this feature. The design engineering team hit a home run. The two pieces align perfectly and always return to the precise location.
At the time of purchase I was not happy with the Pro Keys price but now I would happily spend that plus a little more for this gem.

I prefer typing on a keyboard over directly on the iPad, thus the Zagg Pro Keys Keyboard is a great device. The combined weight is noticeable, but the ability to separate the (encased) iPad from the keyboard is a delight. It makes reading or browsing a joy because it is so light. When connected the keyboard is responsive, comfortable, and meets expectations. The case provides excellent protection for the iPad. I have used Zagg products in the past and I am happy to use them again.

I like almost everything about this case. It’s durable, the charging port for my pen is easy and accessible, and the keyboard is accurate and has a great feel. The only thing I’m not crazy about is the screen positioning system. It has two slots to place the screen and you can fold or not fold it in the back. My last ZAGG was the most durable and it was hinged which gave it almost infinite positioning possibilities. This case wasn’t available for the new iPad air5 or I would have bought it.

The Zagg Pro Keys Keyboard and Case for the Apple iPad Air 4 is an excellent value. The keyboard keys have a solid tactile feel. I have large hands, so the keyboard feels too small. That being said, all 10 inch case keyboards feel small when you have large hands. Contrary to many reviews, the iPad does go to sleep when you close the case. I really like the removable case for the iPad. It has a solid, smooth but tactile feel. I think the textured back makes all the difference. In conclusion this is flexible, will protect your iPad, and is well worth the money.

How can this keyboard not be on the front page of every news, every blog and every tech reviewers YouTube channel? No, seriously, this thing is awesome. Sturdy, nice to the touch, compact but at the same time enough footprint to work comfortably. If I were to suggest one or two things, because the design is flawless, the would be this: add a kickstand to the removable cover, in order to support the iPad by itself when removed; and have an option in black and white, just for the looks. Honestly, I am positively impressed with the value proposal (amount paid versus what you get and the usefulness).

Excellent quality products
I love the quality of both the folio case and iPad stylus. The iPad case is perfect as you can separate the iPad from the keyboard. The iPad case is light and offers protection and is not bulking for reading. The folio is well made and connects perfectly. The keyboard connects straight away and works really well.

It just works
Bluetooth connectivity starts quickly, doesn’t drop. The keyboard itself is substantial, solid and yet not pretending to be a full laptop keyboard. This is a great product.

Great product!
Keyboard works great. Easy to connect and nice feel. Case is not overly bulky and I like that the keyboard can detached if not needed. Pencil holder holds pencil securely as well.

Best Keyboard Case Ever!
This is my 5th Zagg keyboard case for an iPad and it is by far the best one. Was going to buy keyboard case at Apple store where I bought 4th Gen iPad Air but the store reps actually said the Zagg case is far more protective — so I bought Pro Keys which was only one available for this iPad. Love the magnetic holders that enable you to view screen on slight or severe tilt and then when you close it up magnets hold the case together with a flap at top that secures it. It seems lighter and sleeker than my former Zagg case but box said it’s protected from a 6 foot drop. Keyboard is like my laptop keyboard, easy to use — all in all a great case!

It's ok
It works like it should but is nothing special. Limited to just two viewing/typing positions. Obviously not backlit. There are worse cases and there are ones that are better

Zagg Keyboard Exceptional
This is the second Zagg Case/Keyboard I have owned. It’s the only keyboard that I have found that allows me to type as I would on a full sized computer keyboard.

Amazing !!!
Perfect skin, fits perfect and the quality is overwhelming !!! Qwertz layout would be nice, but works also with qwerty. Very nice !! ??????

One major “flaw”
The keyboard case is n outstanding, well built product. HOWEVER, I was not able to access the on/off key that the Apple iPad Air 2020 uses for the touch. The device was also delivered in a unprotected outer box. It had come out of the inner box inn transit
