I had been a ZAGG user up until the time the iPad Pro 12.9 came out-it seemed at the time, there was no keyboard, etc. Having tried a competitors, 3 times in 3 months, only to have them break, I hope ZAGG was back and you are. Love my ZAGG, love it. Works well, last a long time on a charge, the keys are great and the backlights are great. I feel like came home!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works like a charm This keyboard works well with the new Apple iPad Pro 12.9 inch (M2) tablet. Connects well and the magnets are strong enough. Apple Pencil attaches and charges with no problem. I like the security loop for the pencil. Love the backlit keyboard. Makes the tablet a little heavy and thicker but all that is to be expected. Great to type on. Well worth the money and the protection of the tablet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent KB So I recently purchased this KB, I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it. I would have preferred more color choices of the material itself. The light up keys was one of the factors I was looking for as well as something that feels sturdy. I was not disappointed by either. I love that I can change the color of the light up keys as well as have 3 settings of brightness for each. As far as sturdiness, this keyboard states it has a 6 foot 6 inch drop rating. I have no intentions of testing it, but have no doubt it would hold up just fine. I like that my ipad has its own case that surrounds the edges, I do not like the idea of just a magnet holding it and hope like heck it is safe. The KB case in and of itself is a little weighty. Plus the added weight of the tablet itself does not help. But, overall the KB case is great, pairing was a breeze, and IMO a worthwhile purchase.

The magnet is strong and the item feels sturdy when carrying it in your hands. If you are okay not having a trackpad then highly recommend this. My daughter did not want it's preference and the price was not bad compared to what apple sells their for. Now my daughter want the screen protector since she will be using the pencil a lot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Keyboard! Very responsive, long lasting battery and great feeling keyboard. The case is very protective and the pencil holder slot with flap is very accommodating. I would give this unit 5 stars but, it is very heavy and not the best for lap use. I’ve somewhat adjusted to both issues but wasn’t sure I could for about 2 weeks. If you are going to use this on a table top, it’s a definite purchase. If you are a lap user you will just have to try it out and decide if you can or cannot go with it. Because it is so heavy I purchased on Amazon a carry sleeve/case/zippered pouch for when I take it in the car or on travels. That way I am far less likely to drop my ipad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gets the job done I’ve been using this keyboard daily for the last 1.5 months with my 12.9 inch iPad Pro. On the positive side, the typing experience is good and the additional row of functions keys are useful. On the negative side, the magnet that attaches to the iPad is weak, so if you lift the combined device by just holding the iPad, it will detach from the keyboard. Also, the bluetooth connection to the iPad is very short. It seems to disconnect after just a few minutes which is not ideal when reading an article and trying to take notes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than Apple Magic keyboard I have had this for a couple of weeks now. Previous keyboard was the Apple Magic keyboard. The main thing Zagg has going over the Magic is the holding of the Ipen. If you have a $130 pen, you do NOT want only a magnet holding it on. What is Apple thinking? The Zagg keyboard has a nice touch to the keys, easy to type. They also light up. The Ipad can fall out when you are trying to do this on your lap, but not like the Magic keyboard. The battery seems to last a long time. You can also hear the audio better with this compared to the Magic keyboard. I got the one without a mouse pad because I don't use that a lot and was always accidentally hitting it by the way I type.

As such I could separate from keyboard, take to a restaurant and have it stand on its own. Now when separated, there is nothing to help it to stand up. The new cover for the Air pad gen 6 was no improvement for me.

The buttons for the key pad power source is a nice feature.( wish it flash on the screen-some how??). Maybe some different colors for the case,would be nice. An maybe add a cable for charging would be nice also. Overall a great product, I would buy again and recommend it to others to buy.

It’s amazing how long this case stays charged, not to mention how it turns on automatically when I stand my iPad up on the connectors. Easily switches between my iPad & iPhone with the dual Bluetooth connections. It has a magnetic closure that is very strong so I don’t have to worry about it flipping open at any time. A+ on this keyboard case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed It’s very sharp and professional looking, but it only has 2 angles to choose from. It doesn’t stand up without the keyboard attached. Works perfect for when I want to use the keyboard, but watching a movie and working with it in the field without the keyboard is a bit disappointing. The case from two years ago didn’t look as good, but sure gave me a lot more options. I used to use the kickstand as a handle when the keyboard wasn’t attached, it wasn’t ideal but it was better than having to cradle this one in my arm all the time. Hope you come out with another style for this amazing new iPad.

The case keeps falling back on my lap and other situations. Thats how I damaged my last iPad. It works. Its heavy, and the keypad is not nearly as smooth as the apple version. Again. Its ok.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome iPad case, definitely recommend First off, this case is awesome, keyboard is great(backlit and multiple colors and brightness), case itself feels protective, and secure, also secures the Apple Pencil, which is a definite plus. Previous to this case I had a competitor case, which the keyboard kept falling off, and case felt not as protective, and did not secure the Apple Pencil. Also other cases I have found to take up a lot of space, if you travel and find yourself on airplanes this case is perfect. Some other cases do not require to charge but with the long battery life on this one do not let that sway you, battery life last an estimated 12 months, I have had mine for a couple months and have yet to charge it. Overall very happy and would 100% recommend.

The magnets that hold the iPad in place are strong and do a great job. The keys are easy to use. I can hold my iPad on my lap and use it easily. My only question about the keyboard is I don't know if it's off when I use the power button. It charges easily with the charging cord from my iPad. It does not come with it's own charging cable. It also holds the stylus pencil which is also a plus. I'm still learning all the in and outs of my iPad and keyboard, so I don't know all that it's capable of doing. All in all very happy with this purchase.

I have no idea if my box was supposed to come with a charger but it didn’t, and I’ve been emailing to ask about it and it’s been weeks of silence. This keyboard is expensive enough where it should come with a charger, but no idea.

After using this for a month or so I have noticed that too often keys are missed or duplicated. I have adjusted the settings on the iPad, but this did not help. I also thought it may be me, but i do not have the same issues on my Surface. I will continue to use, however this may be a deal killer for me unfortunately because i love it otherwise.

I recently purchased the Zagg Pro Keys reluctantly because they no longer offer the Rugged Pro for the 12.9 gen 6 ipad. The Pro Keys I received did not charge my apple pencil which is something I use daily for my graphic design work. I contacted Zagg customer service within 1 day of receiving the item and noted it did not charge the pencil. I was told that sometimes the rubber thickness will inhibit the connection and that I could return it to them - AT My Cost. For a defective product???? When I questioned this I was then told if I had Purchased the warrranty I could then return it to them for a replacement. So I would STILL have to pay Zagg for a defective product?! I'm thoroughly disappointed and will never purchase another Zagg product. The Defective item has been returned AT MY cost. It's clear that the company who purchased Zagg does not have the same consideration for its customer as the original Zagg.

The magnet system works well although it could be somewhat stronger as I note that the iPad portion of the case does inadvertently detach ‘easier’ than I feel it should. Otherwise it’s a solid case for the price.

This has to be one of the best keyboards that I ever had. It protects my iPad pro as well. Hopefully i won't get the chance to test that out. I highly recommend this Keyboard

It's lightweight if you need for travel, and the features like the higher keys, super easy connectivity, and backlighting are great. The only reason I could not give it 5 stars was because I find at times, depending where you sit and prop this, particularly with the LARGE 12.0 IPAD, this thing tips! Wish there was some sort of inner reinforcing panel or something on that magnetic side. I realize you have to sacrifice function for it's weight, but it's tipped over a few times - so BE CAREFUL and ONLY use this on a table/secure flat surface and NOT on your lap! But, nonetheless, a great purchase.

After following instructions and the power not turning on, I figured the case needed to be charged. Not a problem…go searching through the box confused why a charger wasn’t included and figured it may have gotten left out. I reached out to customer support as now I’m unsure if the case doesn’t work or isn’t charged and I have no way of knowing since the charger wasn’t included. Customer support tells me that for “environmental reasons” they chose not to include a charger since it’s the same charger used for the iPad. That’s where I have an issue. If this was a cheap product, sure. I actually told the agent that they are able to pull this since it’s an apple product and their consumers are so used to “environmental” excuses why chargers for a $1200 phone aren’t included and need to be purchased separately. Shame on zagg, for the price you charge for this product, a charger should have been included.

I wouldn’t know how the keyboard case performs because I still haven’t received it yet! I ordered it on 1.19.22 and it shipped 1.20.22. Tracking states it will be here on 2.15.22….almost 4 weeks to deliver! Not sure how much ZAGG is fault here because everyone wants to blame it on Covid but might be good idea to wait to solicit reviews until AFTER your customer receives their product. Just sayin’!

My one complaint is the same for all keyboards except Apple, it is too heavy to travel with, so I just don’t take it on trips. I like the magnetic back so much better than the previous clip in one. I have not dropped the keyboard so cannot vouch for the strength.

I purchased this because I got a new iPad and the previous apple keyboard doesn’t connect very well to the new iPad Pros and I don’t like the new magic keyboard’s inability to flip around so I purchased this one because it’s like the old magic keyboard. So far it’s not to bad. The keyboard clicks a little loud when you are typing but the battery life seems to be great and it connects quickly. My main complaint is the fact that the connection to the base of the keyboard is not very strong particularly on the far back setting so that’s a little annoying because I can’t move around without it falling and the minute you barely tip the bottom of the keyboard up for any reason the ipad falls off. Happened to me in class and my pencil went flying and it was quite the scene. Lol.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding ! Have had keyboard cases from several well-known brands and this one beats them all. Especially the keyboard. Sensitive, short throw, comfortable…it has it all. The case itself seems very sturdy and the viewing angles (2) more than meet my needs. No-braiiner setup and attractive color. Worth every penny (or dollar).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keyboard & Case Arrived in a timely manner and had great directions for assembly. I like that you can take the iPad off the keyboard and it just “clicks†back in. Seems to be durable so far and the holder for the iPen is convenient.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid choice for my iPad pro It's a nice stylish, quality, and functional case. The tactile feeling of the keyboard is good. The magnet system works well although it could be somewhat stronger as I note that the iPad portion of the case does inadvertently detach ‘easier' than I feel it should. Otherwise it's a solid case for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No charger Received the case and was unable to get the keyboard to turn on to link to Bluetooth. After following instructions and the power not turning on, I figured the case needed to be charged. Not a problem…go searching through the box confused why a charger wasn't included and figured it may have gotten left out. I reached out to customer support as now I'm unsure if the case doesn't work or isn't charged and I have no way of knowing since the charger wasn't included. Customer support tells me that for “environmental reasons†they chose not to include a charger since it's the same charger used for the iPad. That's where I have an issue. If this was a cheap product, sure. I actually told the agent that they are able to pull this since it's an apple product and their consumers are so used to “environmental†excuses why chargers for a $1200 phone aren't included and need to be purchased separately. Shame on zagg, for the price you charge for this product, a charger should have been included.

I wouldn't know how the keyboard case performs because I still haven't received it yet! I ordered it on 1.19.22 and it shipped 1.20.22. Tracking states it will be here on 2.15.22….almost 4 weeks to deliver! Not sure how much ZAGG is fault here because everyone wants to blame it on Covid but might be good idea to wait to solicit reviews until AFTER your customer receives their product. Just sayin'!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best keyboard case I’ve ever found for an iPad This case protects the sides of the iPad with or without the keyboard attached. It is relatively lightweight and less expensive than Apple’s version. And I love the way the keyboard feels to the touch.

After finally receiving the keyboard (after the second order), I was highly disappointed when I unboxed it. It immediately felt cheaply made, but I remained optimistic. Once the case was on and paired, I went to log into my iPad for the first time. The letter "S" broke off the keyboard ON THE FIRST USE! Needless to say, I'm done being a Zagg customer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Protection (Pen sold separately) I love that the case has a magnetic location right on top of the case but also just "north of the keypad when not in use. I wish the keypad would stay lit while using but it doe not take away from the convenience of having a keypad/ in conjunction with a very durable iPad Protector at a significantly lower price than an Apple pad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good case I like that the iPad goes in a cover to provide some protection unlike apple cases. The key board is ok but not as good as other Zagg keyboards I have used. The pencil holder works good and the strap that hold the keyboard in also hold the pencil secure when closed. I don’t like that the iPad and case have to be placed in one of two spots on the keyboard of the keyboard wont work. There have been several times when those two spots did not work for the right angle so I could not use the keyboard.
