Fuser error, new fuser unavailable.
We started using this new printer in 2020 and it worked really well, but a month ago the fuser broke (it gives a fuser error on the screen), and the Xerox store, which is fulfilled by CDW, said they had replacement fusers, but it turns out they don't, and nowhere else seems to either. Without this one part, the printer becomes a really expensive paperweight. :-/

It'd be great if it didn't break the first week.
Within the first week it has already gotten into restart loop. I called Xerox Support on Tuesday I was told that someone would be there the next day. Then on Wednesday they never show up. Fast forward to next week and they didn't even have the right part with them. The printer itself ran well and fast beforehand but with such an essential piece of office equipment we really can't afford such long downtime. We were lucky we still had the old HP.

This machine is mainly used for scanning and making copies, but it also prints great too.

Poor support. Very expense repair. Our unit is not under warranty & the billable amount is $300 for the first half hour and then $280/hour, not including parts. To replace the LVPS would cost us a minimum of $500. To make matters worse, the manufacturer of the LVPS does not have any in stock, so we are without this expense printer. Printer is nice when working, but we have had numerous problems getting it to work properly and now the power supply is out. I would not recommend this printer because of the poor support by Xerox.

Home Office Printer / Copier / Fax / Scanner
I have had my Xerox C505 for about 6 months. Been very happy with it as a home office printer. Easy to use and good print quality-super fast. I am having some difficulty in trying to figure out some of the advanced features like sending scanning and printing something via email. But the quality and speed has been fantastic.

perfect for home office or small office
This copier was used in our office for several years with multi users. When the business sold, we brought the copier home for our office their. it is perfect for scanning, printing in color and b/w. No issues.

Does the job well as long as you properly maintain
Handles heavy workloads - has WiFi capability and user functionality is easygoing as well as maintenance needs and parts availability
