Rated 5 out of 5 by BusyRealtor from We are thrilled! We have been pleasantly surprised with this unit. First of all, it's real easy to get it up and running for first use. We have used other Xerox scanners but this is their first true network scanner so we decided to give it a go. The installation was smooth, the only thing was that there's a lot of software packed in the installer and we elected to have everything installed so it took us a while to install. If you only want certain software components, the process could be a bit faster. The scan quality is fantastic, after feeding it roughly 10000 pages within the first, week we could tell this unit is built well. Never a problem with feeding. Image quality is great, and very pleased with the software bundle. They're packing it with a full version of Abbyy finereader which is a very nice package to have there. OCR is near perfect with the full version of Abbyy Fine Reader. there's also lots of other software such as Capture SE, and Organizer but we have not used those features yet. Definitely pleased and would highly recommend. I am in the Real estate business so we have lots of papers to scan and share with clients!

Rated 5 out of 5 by CloudScannerGuru from Amazing connectivity via TWAIN Direct! The Xerox D70n Scanner has a not so obvious advantage over so many other scanners on the market today in that it supports the new TWAIN Direct connectivity protocol. This means that cloud scanning with absolutely no software driver installation is possible! With the D70n installations are literally about one minute because you "register" with a supported TWAIN Cloud server and that's it. No software to install or configure. Add a supported web scanning application to the mix and you can be literally scanning documents into production workflows in less than 10 minutes total. This is truly the future of scanning.
