Rated 5 out of 5 by from Carrying handle broke After about 2 weeks, the plastic handle on the bag cracked in two. My coworker thinks that it was because it really cold out, and the plastic didn't remain flexible. The plastic now has sharp edges and needs to be completely removed. I attempted to return the item, but Dell never responded to my request for return form on the web, beyond the initial "we are reviewing your submission."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best backpack ever I have the roller bag, laptop bag and now the back pack all made by the same company. This is over the top. I travel and need to store my pro cameras and (after a little modification removing my compartments from the LowerPro backpack) my cameras, all lenses, laptop and all accessories fit. Amazingly enough, it won't all fit in the roller bag, which by appearance, looks bigger. My only suggestion is to actually make camera backpack that can carry all the above without buying 2 backpacks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Laptop Backpack Nice size, perfect for a 15 inch laptop. It has a lot of room for your office accessories. Very durable and checkpoint friendly. I prefer it way more than a shoulder strap bag because the weight distributes evenly over both the shoulders and is easy to carry when you are boarding planes with other luggage to deal with.

I decided to get this after I had another pack and the straps finally busted on me. It has plenty of pockets and space for all my stuff, I wish I had bought this sooner.

The padded straps are wide and make it an ease to carry. Practical, comfortable, quality materials and sharp looking make it easy to recommend.

It makes very efficient use of space - you can fit alot in without it being too big to fit in the overheads of smaller planes (regional jets. The fold down floor panel lets it be even smaller if you choose not to use it. Had no problems at the TSA screening - much easier than removing the laptop - just unzipped the bag and laid it flat - no hassles!

The feature for unzipping it and laying it flat keeps you from having to take your laptop out of the case when going through security. It fits under the airline seat in front of you and sits upright on its flat bottom. It holds a lot of different sized stuff in well-planned compartments. And it's bullet proof. This backpack has all the features you will want.

He really loves it and it fits all his stuff (also bought a new laptop from Dell as well, so that helps him like the bag :o). Very strudy construction and good solid feel to it. He loved the "green" manufacturing process and large spaces it provides.

Keeps the laptop safe in it's cushioned sleeve and makes that tedious security check much simpler. I love the small pocket at the top. I use it for my phone and wallet because of the convenience. I use one of the side net pockets for my umbrella. I wish the net pockets were just a little bigger. I have a Camelbak water bottle that is just a tad too big for that pocket. Great backpack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good backpack I switched to a backpack from a briefcase about a year ago before an extended trip to the Middle East, just got a cheap Janus plain black one. I liked it so much i never went back to the briefcase. I finally decided it was time to upgrade to something a little nicer - the Swiss gear was definitely a good choice. It has plenty of pockets, plenty of room, very functional and best of all - i dont have to remove my computer to go through security!! My only issue is that it is a little taller than I would like - maybe just an inch or two. Not sure what size my dell laptop is (not really big or small, just "regular" sized), but the backpack is bigger than it needs to be by an inch or two. When you travel a lot, every inch counts (that's what she said :))

With this exception, I like this bag and the convenience at security that comes with it. However, having the handle fail so fast, I cannot recommend this bag. I strongly suggest finding a similar model with the cable reinforced handle!

I have had this bag know for over a month and found it very convienient way to go through security checkpoints. The middle opens up flat and I have the lappy and other gear in full view of TSA, without them having to rumage through and mess anything up. Ample storage for all the gear I need for my job. The fit and finish is typical WENGER, robust. I must admit I dont baby anything and the bag has been through plenty thus far, and none of the gear has suffered even a scratch. Very pleased with this product. Will recommend it to others.

I needed a laptop bag that would be roomy tough and light as I carry my "office" with me and this backpack met my needs. The straps are very comfortable and it feel so light I sometimes have to check if actually packed my laptop! The side pockets hold my umbrella snug and the canvas loops hold my clip on steel coffee mug securely.It has almost endless interior pockets to keep my bussiness cards, cables and accessories neat. It even hav a special pocket made just for a Swiss Army Knife. Its Check point friendly dseign is clever and the zippers are smooth and fast. Just remeber to take your Swiss army knife out the bag before you go through the airport!

The padding on the shoulders and back is excellent, with lots of pockets for storage. I carry my laptop, hard drives, books, etc with no problem.

It is, however, very comfortable and very handy when it comes to using it strictly for my laptop. At first, I was using it for both school and work, so I would carry all my necessary books for the day along with my laptop, which was great because everything fits in one bag. If I was bigger and stronger, it probably wouldn't have mattered, but for me, it got to be a little heavy and extremely bulky. Overall, it's a great product, it's sturdy, comfortable (when it's not too heavy) and has lots of pockets and storage space. I still use it, but not as often as I had hoped. If there were wheels on it, it may be more user friendly, but no complaints here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Back Pack Ever! I travel extensively. I also go through backpacks like they are bottles of Diet Coke. This one, however, is tougher than I am. It has great compartments to segregate materials. The back is form-fitting and comfortable. Easy to tote even when this bad boy is fully placked. Speaking of fully packed, even when it is loaded, it still fits nicely under the seat in front of me. Perfect for flying and dragging through the airport. I rarely get excited over "luggage" but this is a different animal. Wave at me in the airport next time you see me and my pass you by with a great big smile on my face!

I dropped this back pack off of back of my truck onto pavement with laptop inside and received no damage, could not believe how durable it is! for the money would recommend this product to anyone.
