Advanced Filtering with Premium Group Categories
Premium Group Categories provide enhanced employee Internet management capabilities. They can be monitored with Websense Enterprise. For an additional cost, you can block, defer or assign time-based quotas to these categories to save extra bandwidth and increase employee productivity.
Premium Group II - Bandwidth Management categories include:
1. Internet Radio & TV - Sites whose primary purpose is to provide radio or TV programming on the Internet.
Prevent the continuous strain of online radio from using up your bandwidth by blocking Internet Radio & TV sites.
2. Peer-to-Peer File Sharing - Sites that provide client software to enable Peer-to-Peer File Sharing and file transfer.
Ensure information security and eliminate legal risks and the strain on your network performance by filtering the Peer-to-Peer File Sharing category.
3. Personal Network Storage/Backup - Sites that store personal files on Internet servers for backup or exchange.
Conserve network bandwidth by limiting access to Personal Network Storage/Backup sites and avoid the risk of any work-related files going out to the Internet.
4. Internet Telephony - Sites that enable users to make telephone calls via the Internet or obtain information or software for this purpose.
Block Internet Telephony and prevent employees from placing non-work-related voice telephone calls over the Internet to conserve network bandwidth.
