VMware Site Recovery Manager enables rapid, reliable, and manageable disaster recovery by providing leading disaster recovery management and automation for virtualized environments. Site Recovery Manager provides centralized management of recovery plans, enables non-disruptive testing of recovery plans, and enables automated failover when failures occur. Long before a failure occurs, organizations can use Site Recovery Manager to configure and program the recovery process for their entire site. At the time of failover or testing Site Recovery Manager automates execution of the recovery plan, eliminating many of the slow and unreliable manual processes common in traditional disaster recovery.
