Returned - Did Not Work
This piece of equipment did not work. It would not transfer power via USB-C to the tablet. I therefore returned it and got a WD-15 docking station instead.

Very easy to set up
had all the ports I needed, and was able to use my power supply to power the dick, and that passes through to my laptop.

Great Type C for the Corporate User
This dock just worked. I did have to use my power brick (I plugged in a type C charging brick and it is powering my XPS 15 but that was clearly spelled out in the specifications.
Great for my work from home setup and I didn't have to talk to the office IT group to get it setup. Plenty of USB's and it has a handy card reader as well.

Not really what we were looking for.
Works great as basically a fancy hub. Did not serve our business needs in reality as a docking station. The dock is limited in ability to push out 3 displays. While 2 displays worked great, hooking a third monitor forces it to have very low resolution due to a limitation in the device. Further, the method of powering the device requires USB type C power cord which will not work for some devices.

This is not a powered docking station and it would not work with my Vostro 5502

Probably best Quality/Price on the market
Love the fact the USB-C wire is way longer than competition.
Love EVEN MORE that it is detachable in case we need a longer one.
Worked right off the bat, replacing another brand new competitor which had disconnection issues. Never had that problem with VisionTech's.
These docking stations tend to be expensive, this one at 140$CAD hits a pretty good quality/price point.
Thinking of buying one or two more so I can have one at every working location :)

- Haven't tried DisplayPorts, AudioPort, Power Passthru.
- Couldn't get the MAC Address Pass-Thru to work. Emailed company for help, told me my BIOS needed to support this, I can't confirm anything other than that my BIOS had no such option.

Awesome portable dock!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the one I'm looking for .... finally, I purchased a month ago and based on my usage it is excellent. This product completely satisfied my requirement. Thanks to Dell for keeping nice accessories for productivity.

It's caused memory issues and for my computer to hang if it goes to sleep while plugged in. I also have issues with intermittent loss of connection with the keyboard and mouse, which is incredibly annoying. I also don't use the pass through power because it seems to work better when I don't. I do not recommend.
