Good value for simple waterproof speaker.
Love this little waterproof speaker. I wanted a speaker in the bathroom when I was showering. I saw this little cube for sale and took a chance. The sound is good, it hangs in the shower but it is waterproof. Battery last longs.

Bad user interface
The sound is OK (I am not an audiophile, I listen mostly to podcasts). The body and the construction are solid. But the user interface is terrible:
1) On a normal Bluetooth device, when you use the volume controls, it changes the “system volume”, in other words, the host device knows that the user is changing the volume. It’s not the case with this speaker. It maintains it’s own volume internally, independently from the host device.
2) When you turn it off and back on, it forgets the volume you previously set, and sets it back to 50%.
3) When you press “volume up” when it’s already at max volume, it mutes(!) the playback for about two seconds to insert it’s stupid warning beep
4) It plays a stupid jingle every time you tun it on or off. The off-jingle plays always at 50% volume, regardless of how quietly you are trying to turn it off.
5) the buttons are smooth with the rest of the body, it’s very hard to find them in the dark.

I love this cube. It sounds great whether you're just listening to the radio or Bluetooth. I've had it on all genres of music, and I've had it on for hours at a time. I also tested the waterproof abilities as I take it kayaking with me. It's the perfect sidekick.

Wireless speaker
Asked for wireless speakers talking to a rep for my desktop. This is basically waterproof speaker to hang in your shower...not that practical for a desktop!
