The RoadWarrior packs easily in a laptop bag and is powered by the USB port to scan wherever AC power is unavailable. Bundled software includes ScanSoft PaperPort, the industry’s leading desktop and image management software. Also included is ScanSoft OmniPage, NewSoft BizCard 5, Google Desktop Search, Google Earth, TWAIN and WIA drivers.

With Visioneer’s patented technologies, the RoadWarrior is Paper Driven and automatically scans documents when inserted into the scanner. Users can scan regardless of location because the RoadWarrior is powered through the USB port. The RoadWarrior is designed to automatically convert, at the user’s option, any scanned item into a text-searchable PDF file while maintaining the visual integrity of the original document.

Minimum system requirements are a Pentium II 300 MHz or equivalent processor or higher and Windows 2000 or Windows XP, 256MB of RAM (512MB RAM for Windows XP), 200 MB available hard disk space, a CD-ROM drive and a USB port.
