The Vertiv Gentex 9120F Continuous Piezo Sounder Smoke Alarm is designed for residential and commercial applications, including homes, apartments, hospitals, hotels and motels, in compliance with UL 217, UL 1730 applicable IBC/IFC Standards and NFPA 72. It is engineered to virtually eliminate nuisance alarms and deliver an outstanding performance wherever reliable fire protection is required. This alarm comes with a 120-volt alkaline battery for backup in the event of a power failure in a building. The battery impedance is verified, and the alarm provides a low or missing battery warning.
