The Veritas NetBackup 5240 Storage Shelf is a 2U12 drive enclosure that offers a storage capacity of 49 TB. Each disk drive can be accessed from the storage shelf's front panel. An embedded RAID controller is used to configure the disk drives into a RAID 6 configuration. The NetBackup 5240 Expansion Storage Kit contains Eight 32 GB Dual in-line memory modules (DIMMs).
