Thanks to the integrated power management system, this Ubiquiti UniFi Switch USW-PRO-48-POE offers near-silent cooling for a noise-free server area. Four 10Gb Ethernet SFP+ ports enable system administrators to set up a high-speed wireless network. Users can also deploy a long-distance uplink to another switch.

Ubiquiti for life
I have used various switches and network equipment in my time but Ubiquiti seems to be the easiest and the most reliable that I have used. We currently have 11 US-48-500W switches installed and haven't had a single issue with this particular model. Easy to configure and they just run. We installed 3 of the switches in our main server room with almost every port used pushing POE to about half the ports, again a solid switch.

Inexpensive worked OK
Deployed this to a few environments didn't care for the touch screen. I did have some issues getting it to work with the controller but once it was setup it ran OK at each environment for a few years with some hiccups here and there.
