Rated 5 out of 5 byBenjamin from STUNNING!This case is absolutely gorgeous. I bought the crimson case so that the black/red theme would work with my midnight black phone. The red part is a metal with a shiny, glossy finish(It seems slightly metallic, but I see no flakes). The black pockets on the inside are a black leather material that brings a nice contrast to the shiny metal. The outside edge is a slightly textured rubber finish that feels nice in the hand. The case offers a far better grip on the phone than no case at all. It also helps keep your fingers away from the edge of the screen touching stuff. It also has raised bumpers on the corners that prevent the back of the case touching the surface protecting it. Same goes for the front, the top and bottom have raised edges that protect the screen if you lay it face down. Only down side on this case (phone design issue of course) is the top and bottom is the only thing holding the case on, unlike older Galaxies that didn't have the infinity screen. This case is well worth the price tag, unless you don't care about looks of the case. The design and materials used in the Monarch are far beyond the cases sold a few years ago for the Galaxy S5. Just when you thought those cases were good, the Monarch is so much better.

I've dropped my phone several times with no fear of damage. The color is very bright and eye catching. I won't purchase any other brand since I found UAG. Best cases you can buy.
