Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit and even better protection. I have been using UAG cases for about 5 years now, mostly on phones. After getting a new iPad Pro, I decided I needed a solid case as the bare iPad is incredibly slippery. As usual, the case hugs the device perfectly, looks great and gives me great peace of mind when handling it in case I drop a $1300 iPad. I don't yet have the 2nd gen Apple pencil so I can't comment on how it integrates but I think its safe to assume it would work perfectly fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Case, Hands-Down This is the only case that actually protects the iPad, has good grip, isn't bulky, and isn't difficult to use. The basketball feeling material is amazing. The extra clamp holder for the Apple Pencil works incredibly well. All ports and buttons are easily accessible. The case cover is a bit 'floppy' when its open, but I don't care much. Also, If you NEED a keyboard, just get a wireless small bluetooth one and keep it in your bag, and it will sit just fine infront the iPad when the UAG case is stood up. If you need an attached keyboard, you should have bought a laptop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally a decent case for my iPad Pro 12.9 Just got the case for my 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 in Black and my initial impression is good. Easy to install and fits well and seems very durable. Works with my Zagg Bluetooth Keyboard and will hold the 2nd generation pencil in the charge position. One thing I like is the anti-slip case. The only thing I might want is to sometimes remove the cover which does not seem to be able to be done on the 12.9 case. The case is much lighter than some of the competitors offerings. Overall it is a keeper.

This UAG Metropolis case is lightweight and is not size bulky. It gives the iPad great protection, even when stashed inside a busy backpack. It’s easy to use in class for taking notes. It also doubles as a stand for viewing presentations or studying with a group. I can’t imagine a better case from my iPad!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's fine I haven't dropped it so I'm going to just have to take UAG's word that it will be protected. I really only have one small issue. I use my ipad for industrial engineering job walks as it's great to take photos and annotate everything. With this case though I have to fold the folio cover on itself to use the camera. What would be awesome is if the cover could be completely removed so when you are using it in this manner it's not just dangling there or getting in the way. But this cover wasn't designed for that so I can't really hold it against UAG, but if they make one in the future that would be fantastic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenient, compatible, convertible-- love it. It's a solid protective case, it can fold into a comfortably reliable stand, it snugly fits the iPad Pro 12.9in. It doesn't conflict with Apple Pencil charging, it doesn't prevent my device from fitting into my iPad stand for digital artwork, it isn't intrusive, it folds neatly into a easily carried and easily gripped design. Forgive me for sounding like a sales pitch, but seriously-- what's not to love 20 out of 10, the only case worth buying for any iPad period.

The apple pencil holder is perfect, allowing me to charge it while storing the iPad Pro in my bag. It has a thinner profile than I had imagined it would too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from iPad Pro 12.9" 2018 I bought this case because it was one of the only ones that support charging of the Apple pencil 2. Since you have to charge the Apple pencil 2 by magnetically attaching it to the iPad there aren't many cases out there that you can do this. I believe that this case offers excellent protection for the iPad itself, but not the Apple pencil. As long as you aren't bringing your iPad to construction sites you will have excellent everyday protection!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect iPad Pro case I have searched for much longer than I’d like to admit to for a case for my 2018 12.9 inch iPad Pro. I found cases with some good features but the UAG Metropolis case has ALL the features. Real world drop protection, Apple Pencil charging position and holds securely, access to all buttons and charger, stand that holds the iPad in several positions and a magnetic flap that protects the screen when closed. Needless to say I am extremely happy with my case, great job UAG!
