I would buy this product again.
When traveling, I sometimes have to use an ethernet cable. My laptop does not have an ethernet port so this adapter does the job.

I have an HP Envy 13t-aq100 laptop which is very thin and without an ethernet port. Sometimes I like a faster and more secure wired connection and this little thing does that just fine.

Solution to a recurring problem
i purchased this to be able to connect a DELL Latitude 7410 to a typical ethernet cable which this model of laptop does not have built in. I have had to purchase several of these to supply my office with the ability to connect these small laptops to our network.

I wish it included a more detailed instruction sheet
Connected easily to my computer port and to the ethernet port but I had difficulty establishing a network connection on my computer. An instruction sheet specific to Mac would have been very helpful.

Because of it's slim design, my new notebook computer came without a RJ-45 jack for ethernet connection. This adaptor allows me to connect to a wired network via the "C" Thunderbolt port. I didn't even know this product existed until I found it on Amazon.
