Great Product, Great Support
USB 3 connectivity, four modes (JBOD, spanned volume, RAID 0, RAID 1), super quiet -- not much more that you can ask for in a two disk RAID enclosure. Unit itself is very well built, disk trays and locking mechanisms are very sturdy. This unit is an amazing value.
The first unit I got had issues with the USB interface. Tripp Lite support was awesome. Their tech was very knowledgeable and quickly confirmed that there was a hardware issue. Tripp Lite shipped a replacement unit that arrived two days later.
I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

I've bought two, would buy again
One is configured as a RAID, the other just a box of disks. Piece of cake to set up, quiet, performance is entirely satisfactory. I bought the first one not knowing how loud it would be (Wife Acceptance Factor), then bought the second. I looked at a bunch of competing products with Thunderbolt or Firewire interfaces, but couldn't justify the expense. I'm glad now that I didn't. These enclosures are fast enough.
