You get what you pay for. This is a quality made product.
Not all of the Adapter Converters are 3.0. If it is very cheap to buy then it probably is not 3.0. The Tripp Lite is a true 3.0 and works perfectly. I highly recommend it to anyone that needs to use a Type C to Type C cable.

Tripp Lite USB 3.0 Adapter Converter USB-A to USB Type C M/F USB-C
Great converter, no issues yet. My laptop just stopped recognizing the built-in USB-C and the converter is certainly helping.
