Rated 5 out of 5 by from Remote operation with NUT not possible. Worked ok except that they modified the remote monitoring protocol without changing the model number. Because they used the same part number it shows up on remote monitoring lists as a model that works when if fact it does not. Why change something that's working? Why not change the model number? Why don't they publish the new protocal?

While it does serve purpose it is crammed if there are many devices and adopters. Future product could look at slimmer version. Went with Trip-Lite over others due to product repute for surge protectors.

I bought this unit as a replacement for a 5 year old competitors unit that the battery had died and the company could no longer supply me with a new battery. I mounted my new Tripp Lite unit low on the wall beneath my computer desk. I have my computer, monitor, and printer plugged into battery/surge outlets and computer speakers and lamps on the surge only outlets. Haven't had a power outage as of yet, so I can't give a solid review but I trust this unit.

I get power brown outs or spikes alot, I use this for my cable modem and ethernet router to smooth out the voltage issues so that I do not lose connectivity to xfinity. It works fine for lower end power consumption appliances fine. I would buy it again.

I have owned Tripp-Lite backups for many years and they have been excellent products. I would recommend this product to anyone else.

Then I will still be in business till I get the generator started. The power hasn't gone out since I got it set up so we'll see how it works the next time the power drops.

My external drive stays on and where there is a power change over, my system is not affect at all. I am glad that I got this product, it works really well.
