Tripp Lite's SMART2200NET intelligent, line interactive large tower UPS system protects servers, networking accessories and telecommunications equipment from blackouts, voltage fluctuations and transient surges. Large internal batteries offer 27 minutes half load runtime and 11 minutes fully loaded. Runtime is expandable with optional BP24V33 external battery packs. 2200VA / 1700 watt power handling capability supports a variety of networking, telecom and other sensitive electronic applications. Includes 6 protected outlets. Supports remote monitoring of UPS and site power conditions via built-in RS-232 enabled monitoring port, plus standard UPS monitoring via 2 built in contact closure ports. Includes PowerAlert UPS monitoring and unattended shutdown software with complete cabling. Supports SNMP with optional external SNMPWEBSOLO adapter. Built-in audible alarm and front panel LEDs indicate line power, battery power, battery charge level, load level, plus voltage regulation status. Network grade AC surge suppression protects equipment from damage and performance problems resulting from transient surges. Attractive large gray tower housing. We used this for protecting 2 switches to keep them up during brown outs and power issues. The unit was easy to install!

Great product, i recommend!
Our Tripp Lite UPS provides a level of security to our staff knowing that we have back-up. This is especially important when those summer and winter storms in the Northeast knock out power. Thanks to Tripp Lite I know were covered!

Excellent longevity and durability!
We've purchased 5 or 6 of these over the past 10 years for molecular modelling workstation support or printer support. All UPSes are still running doing a great job. The batteries have been replaced in several of the oldest. I highly recommend this model for a price versus capacity sweet spot. I personally purchased one for my home to run a CPAP machine all night when the power goes out.

Tripplite makes a good product. I've only had 1 UPS go bad and the RMA process was a breeze.

Biggest UPS with 15amp input
This is the beefiest UPS there is that has a 15amp input. I'd like something even bigger, but I'll have to wait until I buy another house (and stop renting) to install a 30amp outlet in my home office. I'd give this unit five stars if it had an LCD screen to make it more user friendly.

30 run time for large instruments
